Chapter 20

Alec was looking at Magnus while driving who was sleeping on the passenger seat. They both were soaked in rain. Rain has stopped now but it was stormy. Alec doesn't wanna admit jace and izzys words. He was more confused after kissing Magnus with the desire . His phone rang. It was Jace.

" Alec .. Where are you? " He spoke fast.

" I'm taking magnus to our home. He dozed off because of a hangover and I can't go in the city. It will take more time." He replied as he looked at magnus.

" You must be kidding me...You can't take him home . Maryse is home . If she saw him there, I don't know what she would do. "

" What? When she came? " Alec asked in shock.

" I don't know. But she called me, asked me about you and I lied. I don't know how she find out but she know I lied to her and believe me I'm not gonna do that again... " he sighed.

" Shit"

" The weather is not good, come back home as soon as possible " jace said and hung up.

Alec looked at magnus. And he didn't want to, but his free hand automatically reached Magnus and removed the wet hair from his eyes, who curled his nose in sleep. He looked so innocent. Alec smiled at the cuteness but faded as his phone rang. It was Maryse . He stopped the car at the side and came out of the car, Went a little far.

" Alexander Gideon Lightwood.Time to reach the game to its end. " His heart fastened at the tone of her. He looked at Magnus a little long from outside and forgot to answer.

" Why are you silent Mr. Lightwood? Or are you too busy to reply back?." she Asked but no reply.

" So what I heard is true. You have fallen for the son of your father's murderer."

" It's not like that I -" he spoke hurriedly.

"The man who tried to kidnap Cellin and when he failed, dragged her by her hair." She cut him off .

" Mom, stop please." He held his head as All memories came back.

" He Made that day the most terrible day for our family. Think about that day, think about your father, stefen and celine."

" Mom please - " clenched his fist.

" Think how much they must have been suffering, they must have begged the enemies. But that monster didn't show any mercy on them." She provoked him emotionally.

" Mom. Please . Please stop." He kneeled down with tears . Started to punch on his knees.

" He raped her... He killed your father brutally. He took a chance from us to live peacefully with Robert twice."

Robert was seriously undergoing surgery after that incident. He survived but went into a coma. He came out of it after 6 years but was killed after 1 month. Alec didn't even get a chance to see his father before he died.

" Their bones are still pleading for justice from the grave, Alec... Still asking for revenge." Started sobbing, making Alec weak emotionally.

" For god's sake please mom. " he was sweating and trembling.

" Remember one thing Alec, No one took pity on their tears. You too will not have mercy on the tears of those people."

He straightened himself with difficulty with angry eyes filled with hatred.

" I swear mom.... I will not show any pity...not let myself tremble when I will take revenge." It was like Maryse was an alarm and he was ringing on that.
