Y/N wandered around the city, in hopes of finding a room for rent.

It's already sundown and I can't even find a place to stay! Damn, I should've let Haruki do this instead.

Y/N sighed. She then looked up toward the moon.

I wish you were here with me now, Muichiro.

Y/N spotted a crow in the sky, and immediately recognized it as Haruki's crow, Yukio.

"Caw! Caw! Trouble! Trouble! Encounter with ex-kizuki! Caw! Head there as fast as you can!" It cawed.

Damn idiot. I knew I should've been the one to go instead. Y/N thought.

"Lead the way!" She ordered. Don't die on me, Haruki.

  Isamu POV

My hands were trembling, my breathing was all over the place. I stared at the demon infront of me.

He had pale skin and silver hair. He wore a pale blue yukata. He had blood red eyes. One of the eyes, the one that said 6, had been slashed. This demon, was a former member of the twelve kizuki.

"What are you doing here, human?" The demon asked. "Why have you trespassed on my territory?"

I couldn't pick up any malicious intent directed at me, but just a craving for blood. His voice wasn't tainted with venom. It sounded normal, and also sad at the same time.

"Your territory?" I questioned. "What makes this your territory? As far as I know, you're just another demon roaming around."

"Alright kid, maybe we got off on the wrong foot here. I am former lower moon six, Kiba. This whole building is my domain and you are trespassing." Kiba said calmly. "And you are?"

"I am Isamu Haruki if the demon slayer corps, and I don't give a shit if this your domain or not. Cause in the end, I will behead even if it's the last thing I do!" I declared. Maybe a little bit prideful but, it still works, right?

I charged at Kiba, who blocked me with a wall of cement.

So that's his blood demon art. Rock manipulation.

I was about to charge again, when another block of cement came from right below me, sending me into the air. Dammit. I need to keep an eye out for those things.

Despite my train of thought, the involuntary blow into the air proved to be advantageous for me. "Wind breathing, Eighth Form: Primary Gale Slash!"

I swung my blade, sending torrets of wind, meant to shred my opponent, but was blocked by yet another wall. I frowned. I glanced behind me for a second.

Y/N, you better get here fast. Cause I've got a lot of trouble cut out for me.

I focused my attention back to Kiba. "You are quite the formidable opponent, Isamu Haruki. Breath of Wind right?"

I didn't respond. I just gripped my sword harder and charged toward the demon. As I was charging at him,  something, no, someone, slammed into me. It was Y/N.
