The date went well, as well as a first date could go. And when I say first I mean my first.

Ever.

And so I didn't really have much to judge or compare it to, but it was a nice evening. Devon took us to a restaurant, it wasn't too busy which was nice. It was cozy, yet romantic. He had a suit on that fitted him well, he bought a wine bottle for us throughout the night and at the end paid for the meal.

We walked back to his, it was cold so he gave me his coat- me not having brought my own. The gesture was sweet, too sweet.

But I liked it, suprisingly. I enjoyed the evening and when we arrived back to his place we watched a movie on the sofa.

But we didn't really watch anything, we sat up all night talking to each other, about anything. About everything. I told him how my mother used to be, how she was always there for me. He told me how close he is to his family, especially his sister even if they do fight.

He said that Issy had no hard feelings about me anymore, that everything is put in the past. And she's fine if we start dating, which did melt of the weight from my shoulders.

We talked about what we want to be, what we want to do with life. When I said I haven't thought about it he called me out and said that was bullshit. So I told him how I wanted to go to college and take English. Because I wanted to be a English teacher when I was young.

My English teacher was the only one who believed in me, saw someone other than a freak. A weirdo who didn't talk to the other kids, he always said I would do great things in my life.

I shook my head thinking back to that, oh if you could see me now.

Dev told me about his hopes and dreams, I thought it would be lame. To talk to someone about this kind of stuff, but somehow it was comforting. It just felt normal.

A few weeks passed and we went on a couple more dates, once in the cinema. We got kicked out from talking so loud, we laughed as we left. We couldn't keep it in, it was a great night.

And now it's summer and it's boiling outside, the sun is glaring down at us and making me sweat an abnormal amount.

I'm currently leaving the house with the guys, we have all played an outing. Which isn't like us at all, but it was Devon's oh so brilliant idea.

"Come on, we have to make the most of this weather!" He had yelled, throwing his arms up and staring into the peaceful sky. I shook my head as Val rolled his eyes at his cousin.

And that's how we found ourself in this mess, Devon had the wise idea of going to this cliffside he and Issy once went to when they were young.

Devon drove his car with me in the passengers seat, Valentine in the back with Emmet. Issy was coming too and so she drove herself and Skylar, as Skylar was going that automatically meant Ivy was too.

So it was a big trip, and again we don't normally do these kinds of things. We're all too busy with work, or busy fighting each other. But with Devon and Issy as the level heads here they are making sure nothing bad happens.

Trying to at least.

"Can you stop?" I spit out as Val kicks my chair for the hundredth time.

I look at him through the mirror, "what am I doing?" He replies in a nonchantlant way and I glare back at him.

"Right-" I say and turn around to punch his ass before Devon grabs my hand.

"Uh-oh, none of that" he says to me and I sigh out and sink down in my seat. I notice him give a warning look to his cousin which I find amusing, he looks like a pissed of father telling his children off.
