The Destiny's Bounty was a giant ship that supposedly all the ninja lived on. I've never actually seen it before, but wow it looked super awesome.
It could fly. Drew couldn't get over that fact.
The ship had magnificent sails and nice colors in the wood. It also had a giant red dragon head at the bow.
I took so much time to observe the ship that I hadn't noticed the four people standing in front of us.
Cole elbowed me, and I shot him a quick glare but realized everyone was looking at me.
My face flushed with embarrassment and I couldn't bring myself to speak.
Once Cole realized I wasn't going to introduce myself, he took the opportunity to talk.
"So, guys... this is Lynn," he gestured to me. "And this..." Cole turned to his right and pointed at Drew, "is Drew."
That earned a look from Drew.
"How do you know my name, Mr. Ninja?" He asked sassily.
Classic Drew. Oh well.
"It's Cole, by the way. And I know your name because Lynn told me," Cole scoffed, which made Drew roll his eyes.
One of the ninja, one who was dressed in a blue sweater and black pants, was the one to greet us first.
"Well... hi, guys!" He beamed at me and Drew, stepping closer to us, only to be blocked by a short haired girl that got to us first.
"Hey! I'm Nya!" She beamed at me and took my hand in a handshake. "And this is Jay."
"Master of jig," Cole added, which earned a glare from the one in blue, but I smiled.
A pair of hands went in between Nya and Jay, pushing them apart and away from us.
"So you're telling me she's a ninja?" The person said, eyeing me.
"This is Kai," Cole told us.
I turned back to Kai, who had pretty wild hair. The brown hair was like... spiked everywhere. He also wore a lot of red.
I eyed him in return. We stood there giving each other looks. I don't know why he already seemed so annoyed with me even though he's only known me for a grand total of 18 seconds, but whatever.
Cole cleared his throat and pushed a glaring Kai to the side to make way for a blonde ninja wearing white. He was the only one wearing his ninja outfit (other than Cole).
"Hello. I am Zane," the white ninja said, sticking his hand out for a handshake. He seemed the most polite out of the bunch, which I had to respect.
I took his hand and shook it, returning his welcoming smile. I also noticed that his hand was quite cold.
"So, where's Lloyd and Master Wu?" Cole asked the others.
Everyone shrugged, and I had no idea who they were talking about. I was assuming this Wu person trained them, and Lloyd was the golden ninja Cole talked about.
"Must be at some fan convention or something. I'm honestly not sure anymore," the red ninja yawned and ran his hand through his hair.
"What he should be asking is where have you been for three weeks? You just up and disappeared!" Nya said, placing her hands on her hips.
Cole yawned as well.
"Oh. I guess I forgot to tell you that. Huh," he folded his arms across his chest and continued talking, "Well Lynn here got attacked by Samukai. I took her back to an old apartment my dad rented out for me, and fixed her up there. We also started training, because she's got some sort of explosion element.."
