RoseFlopping onto the couch in front of the fireplace in my room which was to the right of the bed, watching the flame while I wondered when Kim would return after she had left since she felt on edge not being able to actually use her wings. Sighing as I brushed the hair from my face before standing as it wasn't comfortable to lay in the dress, undoing the back once I walked into my closet as it slipped off my shoulder, putting it into a laundry hamper before I grabbed a dressing gown, it was long and had fur along the edges and sleeves ends as it was died a Royal blue. Walking out before I heard a small commotion before she opened the balcony door as it was near the bed, she shook the snow off her wings before stepping in as she sent me a smile as I flopped back onto the couch as she came over. She removed her cape which she placed over the single couch, rested her boots next to it with her mask and gloves sitting one the arm before she slid onto the couch and rested her head in my shoulder and I ignored how cold she her clothes were compared to her hair and breath.
"Sorry are my clothes cold?" She asked.
"A bit..." I mumbled as she sat up before walking away, closing my eyes as I bathed in the comfortable atmosphere and when she returns she was careful when moving over to lay on me as I opened my eyes as she wore her usual sweatpants and shirt as the back was cut out so her wings fitted more nicely.
"Tied?" She questioned while she nuzzled into my neck before lifting her head so my nose tapped the tip of hers.
"No, just comfortable..." I hummed as she smiled down at me.
"Would you want to maybe go on a little picnic with me tomorrow" she asked as my own smile formed.
"Are you asking me on a date?" I questioned with a grin.
"Maybe" she shrugged, "I figure I may as well take you on date instead of just making out with you behind a door"
"True" I laughed softly as she sat up and back against her heels as she reached over to one of her wings as she scratched at it making a few feather fall.
"I hate shedding..." she huffed, "it gets all itchy"
"Do you want me to brush them?" I offered and she hesitated before nodding and it made sense seeing as her wings were one sensitive and second sacred to her.
She stood up before grabbing the brush and I got up and followed her as I sat down onto the bed as it was more spacious and she'd be able to comfortably stretch her wings out unlike on the couch, when she returns she had a brush and crawled onto bed before stretching her wings out. I started on the furthest point from the base of her wing, there was surprisingly a lot more than I suspected and she ran her fingers along one of them that she had grabbed as if admiring it.
"There's so many" I chuckled and I ran my hand along the new feathers as they were a dark black ink colour yet somehow shiny, she seemed to melt when I got closer to the base making me wonder if there was more nerve endings there, "are you alright?"
she nodded as her face burnt, "just my wings are sensitive there.."
Abandoning the brush as I used my hands instead as when I got to the base she let out a weak sound from her chest before flopping back onto me after turning as she huddled up against me and buried her face in my neck. Continuing and I grinned at the fact that I figured out how to tease her back, it was interesting finding out things about her since you couldn't simply find it out in a book.
"Are you purring?" I muttered when I noticed the low vibrations.
"Shut up" she huffed.
"But it's cute" I giggled as she moved back and nuzzled the side of my head.
"Says you..." she grumbled, "it's almost frustrating..."
"So Uh what do we do with all these feathers?" I asked as I gesture to the feathers that were scattered on the bed as she looked at me confused.
"We leave them?..." she spoke confused, "it brings bad luck to throw them away" she explained.
"Alright" I sighed.
"I can move them off the bed if you don't like them..." she offered.
"No it's fine" I reassured as I moved under the blanket as she swept some underneath before joining me as she shuffled close enough to take me into her arms, "So when are we going tomorrow?.." I asked her
"Sunset..." she yawned, "so sleep well..."
