Stirring awake as I tightened my arms around her as she slept peacefully, yawning as I opened my eyes as she head her head on my chest meaning when I moved her hair from her neck I could see the mark as it was gorgeous to stare at as it sat on her neck. She stirred when I touched it as I reached up and touched the matching one that would sit on my neck too as it felt warm to touch, she flutter her eyes open as she smiled while rubbing my skin as we'd only bothered to put our underwear on last night but I wasn't complaining.

"Go look in the mirror.." I grinned and she sent me confused look before standing up as I stood up, pulling on new underwear and pants and the female pulled on a shirt before going into the bathroom and she soon rushed back with a huge smile.

"Does that mean we're mated now?" She questioned and I nodded with a smile as she rushed into my arms as I laughed softly as she buried her face into my chest, "Can you tell me what it means?!"

"Well the red sun like symbol is common among dragons though it being red represents our royalty as I come from chiefs and you come from the throne, the swirls represent a river symbolising peace and harmony" I explained to her as she smiled up at me, "get dress, I'll show you around.."

"Okay" she beamed before moving away from me as I pulled on my shirt as I stared at my mask before putting it onto my bedside table instead as I pulled my cape on and my gear belt, "Your not wearing your mask?" She spoke confused while fixing the long navy shirt as a white poet shirt was tucked into it.

"No.." I hummed as I pulled my boots on before helping her with her own.

"Good, I like seeing you without" she smiled as we walked out and left the house.

"Of course you know the river, we fish from it usually during the warmed season" I explained to her as I walked towards the main village, "as I explained theirs different species, werewolf usually stay together at the main fire pit since they are very social with each other like wolfs are, never disrespect them okay?"

"Alright" she nodded.

"The markets are the trading area within us, sometimes we sell and it's where we can buy things that people make like weapons or get a engraving in a sword or bow" I explained as walked into the small market place as we walked over to a fruit stand, "hey Eliza"

"Nice to see you again Kim, the usual?" She asked as she reached under the stand and grabbed a crate, "and is this the rose I've heard about"

"Hello!" Rose smiled at her.

"Well congratulations you two, took Kim long enough to find someone to stand her ego" she grinned.

Rolling my eyes at the comment before moving on as we headed towards a field where the horses were, "we don't keep the horses in the stables but if theirs a thunder storm than we put them in the stable"

Time skip

Sitting at my desk as I worked on the sword as it was one of my favoured ones, a beautiful black obsidian blade with gold engravings along the bottom, the handle was a sturdy oak with a blue fabric twirled around the top to help with the grip. A small line down the middle that caved in where the poison would run through with a weak flame starter button as the liquid was flammable, hearing the door before rose came in as glanced over as she held the basket of vegetables she'd picked from my garden.

"What are you making?" She asked as she wrapped her arms around my shoulders.

"If it goes correctly a fire sword..." I mumbled as I used the magnifying stand to move the magnifying glass over the small pieces as I carefully used a small pin to active it.

"I'm sure it'll work..." she smiled before kissing the side of my head and walking back over to the kitchen

"You got some mail by the way, I think it's from your parents" I spoke up as she washed the vegetables, she dried her hands before picking it up as she unfolded the letter inside.

"Says they want us to come to a ball, it's to celebrate the alliance with another kingdom" she explained, "she said it's actually thanks to us?! Saying that people now call me the queen of monsters and dragons their now"

"Seriously?" I laughed softly.

"Well aren't I powerful" she grinned while putting it down, "we should go though, I like making grand entrances"

"Of course.." I smiled, "I'll even shift into kian just for you, queen of dragons" I grinned, emphasising the end making her laugh softly before going back to making dinner as I soon set the tools down and walked over to help her as I cut up the steak.

Humming happily while cooking the steak as she made the salad, soon serving the steak as she cut the bread as she set it onto the plate, wrapping my arms around her as I smiled while kissing softly. Eventually she escaped my arms as she sat down at the dinner table with the food as I followed, it was a peaceful silence as the both of us did our own things, rose red, while I admired her.

"What you smiling at ?" She grinned.

"My beautiful mate..." I smiled
