Opening my eyes as my head rested on the females bed as I clearly couldn't fit on it in the mythical form, she slept peacefully and I felt my heart warm seeing her wear one of my sweaters, standing as I thanked the fact that the woman was royalty as the ceiling was unrealistically tall like the rest of the castle, same with the sizing. Going to the window as I shifted back before closing the window to keep the cold wind out though the sun was slowly rising making me pray it would warm up enough to be able to take the female for a ride.

"Kim?.." she spoke confused as she was half sat up and looking at me with droopy eyes as her head did the same.

"Hello dear... you should go back to sleep.." I smiled as she flopped back down.

"I'm glad your back... kian was nice company though" she yawned while I walked over before climbing into bed with her as she smiled up at me before wrapping her arms around my neck as I leaned over her as she pulled me down before kissing me as I melted into the kiss as I closed my eyes, she broke the kiss soon after, "Your breath smells like dead sheep.."

"It's because kian ate dead sheep.. and yours isn't much better" I reminded her as she rolled out of bed as she went to the bathroom as I followed as she handed me a toothbrush before putting some toothpaste onto it as I brushed my teeth as she stopped mid way as she stared at my canines as they were almost like a werewolf's ones.

"Why your teeth so... sharp?.." she spoke confused.

"I'm not exactly a human rose" I chuckled, "the only similarity I have to you is my appearance and our first evolutionary history"

"I suppose that's true.. I just never realised" she shrugged as I washed out my mouth before she did as she brushed out her hair as I did the same though I had to fix the braids in my hair, "What do the braids mean?" She asked.

"They show who we have lost, I have three... the blue beads mean I've lost my mother, the brown show I've lost my clan and the red show I've lost my father..." I explained as she sent me a sorry look.

"I never knew.." she whispered.

"It's okay.. I have to except that being a avian means I don't get that joy .." I sighed.

"I'm sure it's not that bad" she reasoned as she walked out, "I mean you get to fly and live with a connection with the earth!" She beamed clearly not realising her words.

"Yeah.. totally..." I mumbled as she went into her closet while I changed into a black poet shirt with pants before my dark green cape, "you know, I will have to leave soon.."

"Why?" She spoke confused as she came out in a soft green dress.

"My family- well my made family isn't here.. I mean you can come if you want? Life with me away from this royal life.." I explained with a smile, "it'll be us in my cabin, by the river and we'll make dinner every night and I'll cut down my missions so I can spend more time with you and we'll have.. nice.. quality time in bed.."

"You dirty!" She laughed at the last part as I chuckled at her reaction as her ears burnt up.

"Can I not be in love?" I smiled as she pulled her boots on as I did the same.

"Yes you can but don't say things like that!" She huffed as I leaned down and pressed a kiss to her neck.

"But I know you think about it right?.." I whispered into her ear making her face burn.

"Shush!"she glared before walking out as I followed as she grumbled to herself while pulling on her silk gloves.

"Why you so red?" Jake asked when we walked into the living room as the team sat.

"Shut up" she glared as she sat down.

"Someone's moody" Sam chuckled before losing the smile, "Hey Kim... their is something we need to talk about"

"What?" I spoke worried as he set down the orb.

"We need to leave, soon.. like two days time if we want to get it delivered in time" he sighed.

"But we can come back right?" I spoke confused.

"Alex needs us back home" Jake sighed, "I'll leave you two to talk..."

The three left as I fidgeted with my hands as she rested her hand on my shoulder before taking my hand so I stopped picking at them, "do you wanna be my mate?"

"Mate?" She spoke confused, "like your girlfriend..?"

"Yeah.." I smiled as I turned to her as her own lit up.

"Of course! Took you long enough!" She laughed before pulling me into a kiss as I leaned back into it though she pulled away all to soon, "But your.. your leaving..."

"It's fine... as long as I get to be with you I don't care how long I have to wait.." I reassured and I felt her discomfort but she hid it while holding me to her chest.

"Promise you'll visit..." she whispered.

"As much as I can.. and I'll send letters every night.." I smiled.

"Good..."
