KianLetting out a soft rumble from my chest while curled around the female who leaned back into my side while reading as I'd found a book at the abandoned cabin nearby. She looked up at me as my head rested in front of her, she sent me a smile before going back to reading as I lifted my head before moving it closer so it was slightly on her legs. Moving closer as I pressed my snout to her side as she lifted on hand and rested it on the tip of my snout as she reached under to scratch my chin as I melted immediately as the rumble I let out grew in volume.
"Are you able to take me back home?" She questioned as she pressed a kiss to the top of my head and I hated the idea of going back to civilization.
"Can't we live out here forever..." I sighed as I cuddled closer to her
"Maybe one day... But everyone is probably worried about us, Kian..." she explained.
"They hurt you... no.. we're staying here..." I huffed as she sighed irritated before standing as I stood up, following her as she went down to the river side as I stayed at the entrance of the cave, laying down outside it.
Sighing heavily as I closed my eyes as I sunbathed as I sleepily rolled onto my back with a groan, "you cant be mad at me for protecting you..."
"Yes I can!" She huffed as I heard her stand making me open my eyes as she walked over to me, "please kian..."
"One more day.. than I'll take you back.." I sighed, "cant ruin your date now can we?"
"Then how we supposed to go one a date?" She spoke confused as I rolled onto my side and brought her into my fluffy chest as I wrapped my paws around her as they had retractable talons.
"You'll see..." I yawned before standing as I shook out my fur and feathers as my wings had feathers like majority of my body as they were smooth and invisible while my chest had fur.
"I'm going to go have a mango.." she hummed before disappearing into the cave, Standing as I followed after her as I laid down as she followed, nuzzling my head into my lap as she ate her mango as she leaned into my side.
Night
Manifesting a saddle onto my back as she pulled her cape on, lowering myself down as she climbed on as she held onto the reins that wrapped around my snot and neck, stretching my wings before lifting off the ground and I heard her pulse spike as I flew higher into the clouds. Breaking throw the clouds as I slowed to a glide as she looked up at the stars in a amazement, I knew she'd always wanted to fly.
"It's gorgeous..." she whispered.
Flying in the direction of the kingdom as she looked down in amazement as the lanterns and fires made it dazzle, "you can jump if you want? I'll catch you.."
She shakily stood up as she walked along my back instead as she put her arms out, opening my mouth before letting out a deep rumble which turned into a roar as it echoed out from my chest. She laughed while getting back into the saddle as I waited until she was safe before twirling as I melted into the feeling of finally being able to fly freely. Spending another half an hour in the sky until she grew tired as I returned back to the cave, swirls along my wings lit up in a yellow colour as it lit up the cave as she dismounted from my back before pulling the saddle off for me as I laid back down with her following.
"It's quiet cold tonight.." she shivered as she laid down as I tucked her closer into my chest with wrapping my tail around us with my wing covering us.
Morning
Stretching before curling back up around the female as she stirred from the movement, sniffing along her back making her giggle quietly as I assume it tickled, she sat up before rubbing her face as I stood before shaking out my feathers and fur. Licking my paws as my legs were feathers are the base but turned into fur at my paws, standing on hind legs as I used the roof to scratch behind my horns as she pulled her boots on with her cape and gloves following.
"Home time?" She questioned and I sighed heavily with a annoyed rumble, "you promise!"
"Fine..." I growled as she grabbed the saddle happily, it would be nice to be Sam, Jess and Jake for once, and I need to apologise after throwing them both, staying now as the female attached the saddle for me before I walked out before she pulled herself up.
"Thank you" she smiled as she patted my neck before I took off and it wouldn't take long until we arrived.
"If even a single guard try's to shoot me I'm ripping their heads off.." I grumbled.
"They won't.." she hummed as I flew over the trees.
Flying over the river as my wings lit up in reaction to the magical essence, flying higher before heading towards the kingdom as it soon appeared into sight as I flew above the village before landing outside the doors as the guards fell over from the wind of my wings.
"Your majesty!" The guards panicked as she slid down my wing.
"She is friendly" she reassured them as they opened the doors for us as on my way in I used my tail to swipe the guard down the stairs as rose walked ahead clueless.
"I told you they would return!" Sam exclaimed as Jake rushed over.
"Jesus kian, why you only just now wake up!" He huffed as he looked over rose for any injuries.
"I apologise..." I rumbled out.
"Can you shift back?" Sam asked as we made our way into the dining hall.
"No, Kim is still resting right now... maybe in a day or two.." I explained to him as her father looked at me in pure fear as her mother seemed scared but not in pure shock like the male was.
"Hey ma, pa" rose smiled at her parents as I flopped onto the ground.
"Roselyn, why is their a dragon in our dining room" her mother questioned in a shaky tone.
"It's Kim, we'll kian, she's friendly" she explained while glancing at me as I eyed one of the guards who was practically shaking under my gaze.
"Well she looks as if she's going to eat our guard" her father spoke up.
"She won't" she hummed as I huffed while resting my head onto my paws as I closed my eyes, feeling exhausted as I slowly fell asleep.
