Clover started packing almost instantly after she cried and thanked Luke over the heavens and the stars.
She called Evageline immediately and truthfully, they cried for a moment.
"Do you want me to text Parker, Silas, and Kennedy?" Evangeline had asked.
Clover nodded, stuffing a couple pairs of clothes into her white suitcase littered with stickers from every place Luke toured.
"Okie dokie."
Packing took a while, but 4 hours later — she was all packed up. Her white suitcase was packed, her smile couldn't have been brighter, and she went to Luke and hugged him again.
Clover had to admit that Luke taking her in his arms for these past few months might've saved her life. She wasn't sure what she would be doing right now if he hadn't noticed the signs.
"I want you to be happy, Lucky." Luke said as he swung a bag over off his shoulder and pushed it into his trunk. "And if being in Australia will make you happy, then going to Australia is where you're going."
The plan for her birthday was simple.
Clover's family owned a beach house on the edge of the ocean, a popular surfer spot, and the day before her birthday she would drive there with her brothers and set it up for her friends.
Evangeline, Parker, Silas, and Kennedy would (hopefully) all be coming and they would catch up, celebrate her birthday, sleepover at Clover's beach house, and then the next day would actually be Clover's birthday.
Luke, Ben, Jack and Sierra would all leave once it would be set up and stay at a hotel nearby — as much as Luke trusted Clover, he still was on edge.
Nonetheless, Clover was intensely excited.
Sierra, Luke and Clover all arrived at the airport and got food immediately. Sierra was talking about how hungry she was.
They got Cinnabon first, then walked over to the Panda's Express and got some food there too.
Getting through security was a hassle as well. Clover already felt the effects of not sleeping yet, making her drowsy as they walked through LAX.
The flight was even worse.
Luke sat on the aisle seat, Sierra sat in the middle, and Clover sat on the window. It wasn't really worse, she just was exhausted.
During the flight, she watched at least 10 movies. The 3rd movie, the 3 of them synced up a movie and watched it all at the same time. It was a horror, so it was funny watching Luke flinch.
Clover was just fucking excited to be home.
