Currently, aether rimuru and paimon are talking about the crystal dropped by stormterror.
After they met venti, he decided to help them.

Aether: See? I told you he was the one I saw with paimon in the forest!
Venti: *awkward laugh* ahahaha...
Rimuru: wait a minute... are you saying you're friends with that stormterror? hmm? *tilts his head*
As soon as Rimuru said that, Venti sweated profusely realizing what he had done.
Venti: crap! of course he'll know if I say that! aghhh! this is the end of my life-
Rimuru: hmmm? I don't understand at all! *mumbles* if he befriended that dragon, wouldn't that make him a Barbatos??? but he wasn't the one I met back then...
Ciel: ...
Rimuru: *mumbles* maybe it's just a coincidence? hmm???? why is it so hard!? venti is not barbatos, that one I agree with... *sigh* Then who is this ven-
Paimon: oi rimuru! what are you mumbling about???

After finishing his fake story, Venti looked at Aether, Rimuru and Paimon and hoped they would believe him...

Aether: y-yeah... fine, if you say so *looks at Rimuru*
Rimuru: hohooo! so you helped that dragon! how nice of you! *eyes sparkle* I think I'd do the same if I were you! *nods*
Paimon and Aether just made blank faces at Rimuru's stupidity or maybe?
Aether: Is he really this stupid or is he pretending to be? There's no one who believe in stories like this...
Paimon: *gasp* hahhh?! is Rimuru even stupider than Paimon thought!?
Ciel: ...
As for venti's reaction...

As they talked about the crystal, Venti appeared and joined the conversation.
Venti: okay... I know how to lure out the stormterror!
Rimuru: ohhh? You already have a plan?
Aether: I'm listening
Paimon: *eating chocolate*
Venti: So we only need one simple tool, it's called the Holy Lyre!
A confused look came over their faces as they heard Venti's words.
Rimuru: Holy ly-what?
Aether: lyre...?
Paimon: ohhh! is it edible?
Venti: *laughs* no silly. it's an item that Barbatos played with in the past. so I thought that by using it maybe we could summon the stormterror and end the problem once and for all *smiles*
Rimuru: hohoo... that makes sense *nods*
Aether: worth a try
Paimon: awww... we can't eat that... anyway, how did we get this Holy Lyre thing? *tilts her head*
Venti: We can borrow it from the church.
Then they went to the church to borrow the holy lyre, but...

Sister: Sorry, without the signed document, we can't just lend it to you...
Aether: But we can save Mondstadt from the stormterror with it! Why not?
Sister: ohh please. even if mondstadt survived, we lost our last guardian. the one who were supposed to protect the city are now attacking it. how ironic. *sad noise*
Paimon: Hey! You just need to tru-mmpph!
Wordlessly, Rimuru covered Paimon's mouth, preventing her from saying anything that could make things worse.
Venti: *sighs* good grief...
Venti started walking to the center of the church and spread his arms.
Venti: Rejoice my children... Your God has once again awakened from His slumber.
Aether: v-venti!?
Paimon: hohooo?
Venti starts saying that he's the incarnation of Barbatos and so on, blah blah blah~.
Sister: please leave this church. we have other things to do than listen to your nonsense, young man.
welp:^ That's Barbatos for you...
in the end they failed to get the Holy Harp in their hands.
But for Rimuru who saw the incident...
Rimuru: *laughs* ahahahahaha! claiming you as the incarnation of barbatos is killing me! hahahahaha! at least you could try something more reasonable than that! *laughs
Seriously... is Rimuru really that stupid? Or is he just joking? Who knows...
Ciel: ...undoubtedly, my master is a fool. So roast him however you like, dear readers *nods*
venti just smiled awkwardly at rimuru's reaction. even so, he was actually relieved that his true identity was still unknown. well, judging from paimon and aether's reactions earlier, they probably already knew.
That only leaves Rimuru who still doesn't know that Venti is Barbatos.

The four of them decided to have another meeting in the evening, so in the meantime it was break time for the aether party!

paimon and aether went to buy food, while rimuru decided to have a drink at angel's share.
It's still too damn early!
The bell rang as the door opened, revealing a silver-bluish boy.
Diluc: ohh welcome dear customer. sorry, but we're still not open yet huh-
Venti: Master Diluc! Refill! *hiccups*
As rimuru looked to the left, there sat venti in a drunken state.
Rimuru: venti? You're already drunk with only two glasses? *approaches him*
Diluc: oyaa? do you know each other?
Venti: hueee? ahaha, of course! ...hik... he's my friend! ...hik...
Rimuru: *chuckles* Master diluc, was it? I'd like a drink too, then. *smiles* I'd like to taste the most ordered drink here
Diluc: Coming right up~
Venti and Rimuru started drinking, enjoying each other's company while Diluc listened to them silently.
Unbeknownst to them, a certain group is now being chased by the Knights.
