She shot back playfully, a sly smirk dancing on her lips as she stirred her tea effortlessly, tucking a vibrant purple strand behind her ear, radiating an air of undeniable self-assurance.
"This is delicious! I can't get enough! *giggles*"
The little girl beside Ningguang squealed with delight, her eyes sparkling as she enjoyed the tiramisu.
Makoto: Happy to hear that!
Ningguang reached over, affectionately stroking the little girl's head, her heart swelling with warmth.
Ningguang: You know, you remind me of someone from my past.
"Really?!"
The little girl's face lit up, leaning into Ningguang's gentle touch, clearly thrilled. They shared the same cheerful features; the only difference was their age.

A sudden voice cut through the joyful atmosphere, accompanied by hurried footsteps. Ningguang turned sharply, tears of surprise and elation shimmering in her eyes at the sight of the familiar face.
Ningguang: Dear..!!
She rushed to him, throwing herself into his arms, tears flowing freely. Confused, Rimuru enveloped her in an embrace, offering gentle reassurances.
Rimuru: Everything's going to be alright...
Ningguang: *sob* It's really you... *sob* I thought... *sob*
From her spot behind them, Makoto watched with a knowing smile, then shifted her gaze toward Rimuru, offering him a blank but contemplative smile.
Sensing the gaze from Makoto, Rimuru looked away with sweat on his forehead.

Ningguang, who was sitting next to Rimuru, explained the incident that happened to Liyue. Hearing the explanation only made him even more confused about what happened.
Ningguang: I'm sorry for failing your test.
She added with sadness as she gave Rimuru's hand a little squeeze. To which add more confusion to the slime.
Rimuru: What is happening, Ciel?
"An unknown energy detected in several areas. Such as Sumeru's ley line, The Chasm and Irminsul."
Rimuru: Probably just my leaked aura?
"Negative. Your aura is undeniably the fiercest element for Teyvat. Meanwhile, this unknown energy is far inferior to yours. But somehow manage to damage the ley lines, even The Chasm and Irminsul."
Rimuru: Then whose?
"An analysis is required for that. I suggest that we go back to Sumeru."
Rimuru: What about the test she referred to earlier?
