The whole liyue turned into chaos. At first the Millelith managed to drive back the invasion, the Conqueror Demons successfully defeated the enemy, Ningguang and the other Adeptus also defended the Jade Chamber. but all of that was turned back into a total fear.
A grand beast, covering the sky of liyue as its roar destroyed mountains and called upon tsunami.

The clouds splitted into two, earth shaking violently as the huge beast made its way toward the Jade Chamber.

Followed by Cloud Retainer and The Conqueror of Demons, Moon Carver charged toward the beast, launching a barrage of elemental attacks.
but the size difference really gave them a huge disadvantage.
the tsunami that was summoned by the Skybracer earlier, marched upon Liyue Harbor. The evacuated people were struck in horror before the great sea.

but then suddenly, the sky is covered in golden light and a huge dragon appears. the Exuvia.
It swings its tail and cuts the tsunami in half before roaring through the sky and flies toward the grand beast, Skybracer. There they then clashed as the fight between adeptus began.

The Invasion continues as the Millelith and dozens of hilichurls engage in a fierce clash. While also some citizens were ambushed by Abyss Mage, resulting in their own death.
Slowly the Liyue Harbor was smeared in blood, whether it's from the Millelith's or the locals. It's not just the Harbor, the front gate was destroyed, bridges were burned into ashes, lifeless bodies laying on the ground. the air filled with the scream from the dead.
yet the man just stared coldly at the sight before him. the woman next to him closed her eyes and looked away in sorrow.
Zhongli: what can I do...
He was bound by soul, he couldn't do anything without Rimuru's permission. The man then walked to one of the lifeless bodies, he kneeled down as he reached the boy's eyes and closed it.
Guizhong: Morax...
The man got up and turned his gaze toward the sky. He stared at it for a couple of seconds before he nodded in determination.
Zhongli: I have something to do. Guizhong, could you do me a favor?
Guizhong: yes, of course!
Zhongli: look for the wounded, treat them.
he said before he parted with the woman as the man suddenly disappeared into thin air.
The next second the man was spotted in a garden, full of flowers and colors.
He then proceeded to walk further into the garden until he arrived at another garden, which had a gazebo. There a woman was spotted sitting leisurely while sipping her own tea, accompanied by a rather unique group of people.
The man then walked to them, interrupting their tea time.
Zhongli: Makoto...
the said woman turned around and smiled at Zhongli. She then gestured to the man to take a seat. Zhongli walked to one of the comfy chairs, next to a blonde-haired girl and white-haired lady.
Makoto: Do tell the purpose of your visit.
She smiled and waved her hand as a second later, a maid appeared and poured Zhongli tea.
the man reached for his cup, staring at it before he changed his direction toward Makoto. Replying to the man's sudden stares, Makoto tilts her head in confusion before she goes back to her tea.
Zhongli: Do you know how I can contact Rimuru?
what he said caught the attention of the other party. The white-haired lady squinted her eyes in curiosity, the purple-haired little girl watched every move he made while the blonde-haired girl stared at him with an interested look.
Makoto then placed her tea back on the table before crossing her arms across her chest, she leaned back against the chair and closed her eyes. seemed to be in thought.
There was only silence as Zhongli waited for Makoto's answer.
until suddenly footsteps coming from behind. Instinctively Zhongli turns around and sees a butler. He has black hair with red-yellow streaks. The butler smiled at Zhongli as he joined them, he walked to Makoto before taking the spot behind her. Then he leaned down, whispering something into Makoto's ear. Instantly Makoto opened her eyes widened, she got up as she put on a shocked expression. She turned around and looked at the butler just to make sure of what he just said. And the butler just nodded as a devilish smirk graced upon his face.
Makoto: I'm sorry guys... but I have an urgent matter to do.
She looked at the trio with an apologetic look. The trio girls looked at each other before they nodded and got up from their chairs.
Diablo: Then, Miss Makoto... we'll take our leave~
followed by the butler, the trio walks away as they mumbling along the way.
"what a boring woman..."
"shut up, she's still Great Rimuru's partner"

As they completely leave the garden, Makoto goes back to her chair as she lets out an annoying groan. she leaned back against the chair.
Zhongli: What happened?
He went back to his chair and reached for his tea.
Makoto: Nothing. Anyway, if you want to talk with Dear, he is currently at Sumeru. And judging by your expression earlier... feel free to do whatever you want, just don't add more trouble for him.
a small chuckle escaped Zhongli's mouth as he finished his tea and got up from his chair.
Zhongli: as expected from The Warden, I owe you a favor. Then, I shall take my leave.
and with that Zhongli disappeared into thin air.
