Temptation's Call

My mind's a wanderer, lost in lust,
Craving touch, though it's not just,
My age that makes me feel this way,
But a woman's interest, leading me astray.

She's mature, evasive, and oh so sly,
But I'm not as hooked as I thought I'd be, why?
Because my mind's elsewhere, on another quest,
Leaving her behind, feeling unimpressed.

I seek to fill the void within,
But no one compares to where I've been,
With a love that's gone, never to return,
Leaving me in a constant yearn.

I'll never be content, that much is true,
For no one can replace the love I knew,
But still, I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place,
Temptation's call, a constant chase.
