Temptation's Call
My mind's a wanderer, lost in lust,
Craving touch, though it's not just,
My age that makes me feel this way,
But a woman's interest, leading me astray. She's mature, evasive, and oh so sly,
But I'm not as hooked as I thought I'd be, why?
Because my mind's elsewhere, on another quest,
Leaving her behind, feeling unimpressed.I seek to fill the void within,
But no one compares to where I've been,
With a love that's gone, never to return,
Leaving me in a constant yearn.I'll never be content, that much is true,
For no one can replace the love I knew,
But still, I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place,
Temptation's call, a constant chase.A. C. Mercier🥀
