"A solar eclipse is scheduled to come through to Sodor! However, the weeks leading up to it cause a bit of a disturbance, and when the eclipse finally does come. It changes the lives of everyone on The Fat Controller's Railway.

February 17th: 12:13pm: We left the carriage shed, mostly feeling good. Harvey's death still lingering on our minds. Duck is still furious at Gordon for what happened, Gordon is still horribly remorseful, Donald still has Harvey's blood on his side and Edward.... Actually, Edward seems pretty cheerful about the whole thing.... That's strange.... The whole trip was quiet, apart from Gordon and Donald exchanging a few words every now and again. At last, we crept into Wellsworth, to see a whole team waiting for us! Oliver was standing on the turntable, with the most arrogant grin I've ever seen! Behind him was Thomas, Toby, Percy and Daisy, who was in the same sort of state as Duck. Along with Toad but like come on. But, most importantly, stood next to Thomas, was a stout gentleman! One that is many's shining layer of hope in this desselete time! The Fat Controller! After being acquainted with the group, we finally got everyone's stories! This will be a fair amount, so be patient with me. Duck was resting at the shed, after taking a goods train to the big station. He was falling asleep, forgetting all about the party, when he noticed the eclipse, and watched with anticipation. That's when it got him. Duck described it as a growing pain in his firebox, that quickly spread throughout his boiler, before reaching his smokebox. Duck could only scream, as he felt his right side twist and contort, stuck in writhing agony.

Not long later, Harvey arrived. Duck broke down, saying Harvey had been the one thing keeping him going, and Gordon had just killed him. Then, Thomas went. He said he had been taking a train up to the quarry, and hadn't noticed the eclipse. When he did, he was at the entrance. However, Mavis did. She was screeching like a fucking banshie, and from what Percy described, it was only due time before she'd take down the whole quarry. Percy told Thomas to run, and he'd take care of the workmen. Thomas could only watch, as the quarry came crashing down. Presumably, killing Mavis, Percy and the workmen. However, as you can see. That isn't the case. Thomas left, and passed Daisy, who he had also assumed was a goner, and rushed down the line.

Before meeting James at Elbebridge, where they attempted an escape together. However, as we had seen, it didn't go to plan. When Thomas had made a runner, he found Toby. Toby then told us his story. He had been chatting to Henrietta, Annie and Clarabel at the carriage shed next to Tidmouth, when he and the coaches had heard screaming! Toby didn't take any chances, and picked up anyone still working at Tidmouth Sheds, including The Fat Controller, and ran,

taking the loopline, checking Terrence, Harold and Bertie. He said that Terrence was nowhere to be seen, the infection had gotten Berite bad, and Harrold had crashed, causing his engine to become a raging inferno, he even travelled up Duck's line, picking up as many survivors as he could, before joining back up to the mainline. He noted passing Oliver, and seeing Henry and even BoCo.. The latter chased him. Toby couldn't outrun BoCo, and Toby knew this, but was hoping he could find someone who could. That's when a set of unchanged points caught him, and he was tossed into a set of buffers, bashing through them, wrecking his cowcatcher at the same time. Toby thought he was dead, as BoCo arrived, however, they were graced, as Thomas the Tank Engine arrived, and managed to shew off the thing. Percy was up at the quarry, and had refused to give into Mavis' demands to look, saving his life. After he got Thomas away, he and the workmen camped at the only safe spot, before continuing on. Percy's driver, a girl named Maya, constructed some goggles, to protect Percy's eyes from the dust, while they would dig at their way through the rubble.

Once free, they found Daisy, who, like Duck, was able to communicate, but barely. After grabbing her, they found Thomas, Toby and now Oliver, who were preparing to catch up with us. But, of course, in true Percy fashion, he slipped on the rails, and wrecked in the coal bank Toby was stuck in, so they spent a good chunk of time getting the shithead onto the line. At last, it was Gordon's turn. He said he was taking the express, and had even passed Derek, just as he was going down the branchline. However, it was what he last remembered that sent the yard into a frenzy. Gordon said, the last thing he remembered was passing Wellsworth, to see Edward, and one of the twins... Douglas. Duck and Donald shouted in unison, as the realisation on what Gordon meant hit most of us like a goods train. Donald immediately snapped at Edward, begging him to tell him where Douglas was! Edward began to grow defensive, and said he had no idea what he was talking about, and he had been at Knapford harbour. Gordon interjected, saying he thought Edward said he was at Callan, and Edward stammard. Gordon had caught him right in the trap, and we all now knew, Edward, had been lying. Donald and Gordon basically threatened Edward to tell us what really happened. And, at last, he did. Edward had been resting at Wellsworth, after taking a train, when Douglas arrived with a goods train. Not long after, the eclipse arrived. And Henry passed. This, coupled with the chaos it caused at the station, caused the crew to become rather alarmed. However, Edward knew at that point, it was survival of the fittest, and knowing that BoCo would've had something to do with it, he sent Douglas down to the docks. Donald, became hysterical. Screaming at Edward about what he'd done to his twin, and to make things worse, Gordon joined him. At last, Edward, without crew seemingly, stormed away! Thomas shouted at the old blue engine to stop, but Edward didn't. We spent ages comforting Donald, until Gordon had an idea. Are we sure Douglas is dead? We know he should be down at Brendam, but what if he's alive? So, we've made a decision. We've going to look, in an operation we call 'Operation Storm Brendam'. Donald, Gordon and Oliver will be going, as Duck and Daisy need to be looked after, and Toby's cowcatcher is still being mended. After a rest, we should be setting off. However, Toby did mention something to us. When Edward was explaining the truth, his voice changed... Whatever this thing is, it is not Edward.
