You were finally back from your trip to Kyoto but still was unaware that Nanami was back. Nanami asked everyone to not tell you about his return since he wanted to do it himself. Even though you were back you weren't coming to Jujutsu high which had everybody curious.

Maki- Gojo sensei where is Y/n sensei? she is back from her trip right?

Gojo- yeah she is and she told me it was amazing

Inumaki- tuna mayo <where is she then?>

Maki- just tell us where she is? she was going to train me to use cursed pins

Gojo- she will be back soon don't worry

(he said and left the ground making his way back inside)

Shoko- oi Gojo where is Y/n? she hasn't came here after we returned from Kyoto

Gojo- she is at home

Shoko- what the heck?! why would she marry some random guy? and aren't you the clan leader or something

Gojo- I am but they asked me to stay away from this matter, this guy was said to be her future husband when they were little kids

(they were talking unaware that Nanami heard everything. His whole body freezes and he was not sure what to do now. He decides to visit you as soon as possible)

Y/N- *ugh! if that Kento wouldn't have left I would have not be in a situation like this*

(You thought to yourself as the maid finishes doing your hair and getting you ready)

(You stood up from your place and made your way to the meeting room with an annoyed expression. Entering the room you greeted the clan elders and sat down along with them. The guy who was supposed to be your husband was sitting there too. The elders were talking about the marriage and other stuff. You and the guy were asked to have some alone time in the garden to know each other)

Akito- you are looking absolutely beautiful Y/n

Y/N- thank you

(You said playing with your kimono sleeve. The guy was really nice to you and was so gentle with you)

Akito- so what do you like to do?

Y/N- well I am a teacher so I love to train my students

Akito- you must be really good with kids then I assume *smiles*

(You don't say anything and just give him a smile. You both walked to a cherry blossom tree which was outside of the house barrier)

Akito- well I know you might not be ready to marry me since you are a teacher and have passion to follow your dreams. But trust me I will always treat you right and let you do whatever you want to. I was really nervous but after seeing you I felt an ease.

(Akito said and turns to look at you. His charming face having a sweet gentle smile. You were feeling guilty since you knew you were not going to marry him as you loved Nanami)

Akito- I would love to start the new chapter of my life with you without a doubt.

(he said holding your hand and giving it a soft kiss)

Akito- do you look forward to it too?

(he asked with a hopeful smile on his face. You were nervous, he was so nice to you although it was the first time you met. He seem like a genuine guy but you can't lead him in hoping that you will marry him)

Y/N- * what should I do? I feel bad to reject him, he is a nice guy but...he is not Nanami. I believe Nanami will return... but will he really comeback for me??? should I move- no he will return back...he will right? *

(You were muddling with your thoughts. Nanami was standing a few feets away from where you and Akito were. He saw Akito holding your hand and giving it a kiss, he heard what Akito said. He thought of leaving but he wanted to know your thoughts. He wanted to hear what you were going to say. He knows he should have given you more importance but he still was hoping for a chance now that he has returned)

Akito- Y/n would you like to move forward and build our relationship?

Y/N- No...no, I am sorry but I can't marry you. You are a great guy Akito but I don't find myself in a position to have feelings for you in the near future. I love someone else and I am waiting for him to return. He promised he will be back.

(You said looking at the promise ring Nanami gave you. You felt bad for Akito but you couldn't bring yourself together to just forget the man you love, your first love. Nanami was shocked to hear your words, he couldn't believe that you loved him even after staying apart for 4 years, without meeting or properly having conversations everyday. He thought that you might just move on but your words pierce through his heart as his love for you blooms more)

Y/N- I am sorry, I can't accept this marriage proposal

Akito- hey, don't be sorry it's totally fine. Although I did start to fall for you but it's okay, I don't want to force you into this marriage and don't feel bad for me. A marriage without approval from both side would lead to problems in the future and an unhappy marriage. I just hope the guy you love returns back and treats you with unconditional love.

Y/N- Thank you Akito, I hope you get someone even better than me who truly deserves you.

Akito- *smiles* thank you Y/n, c'mon let's go and let the elders know about our decision.

Y/N- yes

Akito- well I hope we can remain friends

Y/N- sure!

(You said with a grin and walked back inside with him. Nanami comes out from his hiding spot and saw your figure departing)

Nanami- * I need to apologize to her and tell her how I feel. I need to return back to her *

(he thought to himself and left with a light heart and a smile on his face. He was now thinking on how to meet and apologise to you)
