Tobias pov:
"Tobias?" I nod in response, "I love you".
I freeze, did she just say that? I keep myself busy with pricking my food.
"Do you?" She asks expecting an answer. I don't answer right away. I need to think about it. Do I? I don't know what love is but I know I feel something very strong for her. When I carefully look up I see her with a hurt expression on her face, she tries to hide it but fails miserably. I don't like it when she looks that way, my heart shatters. She stands up and before she can even move an inch i hear myself say.
"I do" She turns around, confused.
"I've never loved anyone. I didn't know what it was like to love... until I met you" I whisper the last thing.
I look up and she stands in front of me, I love her with all I am. I know that now. And I know that she loves me too. I pull her down into my lap and we share a short kiss, both still not comfortable with showing affection in public. But even with the short kiss, i savour the feeling of her soft lips against mine. And just for a moment, I think life really can be perfect.
