Inayat pov: -
"Inayat, are you ready?" Neha calls from outside the room. "Yeah, I'm almost ready. Give me 2 minutes," I reply, giving myself a final once-over in the mirror. Today is the Sangeet, and tomorrow is my wedding. Neha has convinced Maa and Papa to arrange the Sangeet in the evening because she wants to throw a bachelorette party. So here I am, all ready for my Sangeet at 5 PM, and at 9 PM we have our bachelorette party. Neha told me not to tell Veer about this because the boys will be enjoying their bachelor party while the girls will be enjoying theirs.
Well, Veer is already downstairs as he got ready before me. My makeup artist took a lot of time, which is why I'm late.
I take one last look at myself in the mirror. I look nice in my beige lehenga. I open the door to see my two best friends ready in their lehengas, looking beautiful.
"Wow!! You look gorgeous, Inayat," Neha exclaims, while Aisha nods in agreement. "Yes, she looks really beautiful. I'm sure Veer won't be able to take his eyes off you tonight," Aisha adds, causing my cheeks to warm up. "Are you already blushing!" Aisha and Neha tease in unison, and I glare at them. "Aisha, you too. Wait, I also got something to tease you with. "Rishab Bhai," I wave at him as I see him coming towards us with Sameer Bhai. I look at Aisha, whose cheeks are now red. "See, now who is blushing," I say, and Neha laughs beside me.
"Why are you guys standing there?" Sameer Bhai asks. "We were just coming," I reply. "Well, you look beautiful, Inayat," Sameer Bhai compliments, and I thank him. We all look to our right and see an intense eye contact going on. We look at each other, then we smirk. "Uhu-uhu," we tease, breaking their eye contact. "Aww, look at both of them, they are a cute couple," Neha says as they both turn red. "And also they are matching outfits," I add, causing more laughter.
"okay okay let's go we came here to call you guys." Sameer bhai says and we all make our way towards the garden where everything is set up for tonight.
