I am your mother

"Peter! Don't forget your potions homework, snape WILL kill you if you don't bring it." James yelled across the dorm to where peter was getting dressed.
"Yeah yeah, i already packed it." Peter answered while rolling his eyes.
"I would check again if i was you, wouldn't be the first time you thought you packed it and still forgot it."
Peter sighed while walking over to his desk to find his potions homework.
"Told ya" James smirked while walking past him.

"Remus, did you go to sleep at a reasonable hour last night?" James asked while tying his shoelaces.
"I don't know, is 3 a.m. A reasonable hour?" Remus yawned as he buttoned up his shirt.
"No wonder you look dead every morning." James shook his head dissaprovingly.
"Geez, thanks prongs." Remus mumbled.

"Sirius, get out of the bathroom, you're gonna be late!" James bonked on the door. "Your hair looks good enough without all that crap you put in it."
"Yeah, but good enough is just not good enough." Sirius said as he opened the door and walked past James.
"You know prongsie? You'd think you'd take better care of your hair with your dad being the inventor of the greatest hair potion and all that." Sirius shrugged nonchalantly.

"Okay people, move, we don't wanna be late for transfiguration, we don't need more detention from minnie!" James announced while ushering everybody out the door.
"Yes mom!" The three marauders said simultaniously as they walked past James. He just rolled his eyes and closed the door.

"James look, that girl has a piercing in her belly button." Sirius whipered while subtly pointing at the girl in question.
"Yes, but it is her appearance and we are not gonna judge her about it." James answered while keeping his eyes forward, trying to navigate through a busy hallway.

It was lunch, and the marauders were all sat at the griffyndor table when Mary came rushing to them.
"Boys, i really need to go to the toilet, could you guys watch over my books? And please don't draw on them." And she walked away.
Sirius was already picking up his pencil but James stopped him. "No Sirius, she asked us not to do it, so we are not gonna do it." He explained, while Sirius just pouted.

James is basically my best friend and i'm the rest of the marauders. She treats me like she's my mother sometimes. :)
