"Bye, it was so fun meeting you!"
"It was good meeting you too little one" he says that while winking at Jordan
"We better get going now Tay"
"Okay, see ya"
"I will see you guys soon I hope"
"You bet pa"
You both walk into the house and smell dinner cooking
"This smells great mom whatca making" he pulls his mom into a side hug and she smiles
"I am making salmon with salad and broccoli"
"So dads coming home tonight"
"Yes and when he gets here I want you to tell him all about how great your doing in baseball and how much you missed him"
"So..lie about half of the conversation"
"Jordy don't be like that"
"But it's the truth it's not like he'll care"
" you know he's under a lot of pressure so your gonna hug him when he gets home okay end of discussion"
You look at him expecting him to say something back
"Okay mom but this does smell really good"
"Thank you sweetie and do you want to stay Taylor"
You look at the time 4:00 than at Jordan as he looks at you with pleading eyes
"Of course I will"
"Good the more the merrier! Now help me with the ceasar salad"
"Okay!"
You guys get everything ready and are setting the table
"So I guess this means I can't stay the night"
"I guess not, I with you could"
"Is ev here?"
"I think so her bike was out front and I saw her jacket on the rack"
"Oh okay I'll go get her"
You start to walk away till he grabs your arm
"I just had an idea"
"And that would be?"
"I could ask to stay at one of my teammates houses to 'practice' but I'll just go to yours"
"But your dad just got here"
"He won't care if it's for the team he wouldn't care anyways"
"Okay I'll just have to hide you at my house than"
"I better go pack a bag and leave it by the door"
"Okay and get ev while your up there"
He goes upstairs and you hear the door open and see someone you haven't seen in a very long time
"Guys I'm home"
You see ev and Jordan at the end of the stairs and ev runs to him giving him a big hug
After they hugged Jordan hugged him but it was very cold and he was smiling at Evelyn
You could clearly see who was the favorite
"How were you guys?"
"We were good daddy but we missed you!"
"I missed you guys too how are you doing in baseball Jordan"
