Chapter 8 - Sleepover

I started to walk to Evelyn's house and when I got there I saw Emma in her moms car putting on lip gloss god might as well wear shorts that your ass is hanging out if oh wait she is god desperate whore "bye mom! See you at 8"
She had her hair curled and light makeup I started to feel insecure because I'm not wearing anything should I would he like me more than she saw me "Taylor! I haven't seen you in like ever!"

"Hey Emma how are you" I said a bit too unenthusiastic but at least she's how I feel unless her head is as dense as her hair "I'm good are you excited for tonight?" I smile and shrug it's nothing new except she's here "Yeah but it's just a movie I'm always here" she hugged me and shrugged "I know that but Jordan is so hot" I felt my mood change and I felt like slapping her till we heard the door open "Hey guys! Come inside"

"Evvy! How are you I'm so happy you invited me!" God I hate her voice she shrieks evvy like it's cute or something she hugs Evelyn but I don't she hurt me I can't forgive that right now "Me too... let's go inside" We get inside when she goes up to Jordan "Jordyyy I've missed you" you felt something inside you rise up and than you saw her hug him he put his hands around her waist and pulled her in the way he hugs me that bitch I thought he liked me and here he is hugging this girl how he hugs me "I've missed you too" he said but he was looking at me and kept eye contact till she let go and looked away so he could know I'm pissed

"Let's go watch the movie now"I said in an agitated voice but hey can you blame me she's annoying and hugging my guy like he's hers
We get to the living room and put on the outsiders "I Love this movie don't you guys? They are so hot" Emma said and I saw this as a golden opportunity time to make someone jealous "This movie is supposed to be monumental yes they are hot but there's supposed to be a lesson you know rite of passage" Jordan looked me as soon as I said they were hot and scoffed "You think there hot"

"Yeah" I scoffed and tilted my head

"Duh"

"Obviously"

"Whatever let's just watch the movie"
The movie started and me and Emma were giggling but I felt Jordan's eyes on me, I felt like pissing him and Evelyn off so I waited till Johnny, Ponyboy, and Dally showed up on the screen to point and start laughing again whispering something in Emma ear and she held onto me as we laughed He locked eyes with me and rolled his eyes knowing I did that on purpose but Evelyn looked us like her plan backfired it did big time the girl she tried to use to make me jealous I took her and flipped the script "hey Emma you look cold" he put the blanket over her and she laid next to him

"Thanks Jordyyy"I felt like I was going cry but not because I was sad but because I wanted to pick up and beat the shit out of her I was so mad
I could hurt her and wouldn't care wow maybe I do have anger issues halfway through the movie I decided to make a call to yeah-yeah just to make him jealous and got up "hey I have to call someone" he looks at me and I smile I walk away and hear him get up right as Alan picked up "hey Yeah-Yeah" I start to tell him about how I was thinking about him and how he's pretty cool but he told me that he liked someone else but I carried on with the conversation and I think he picked up "oh yeah yeah that was so much fun the other day"

I laugh a little too girly and agree telling him thank you and I hang up and before I turn around I can hear his footsteps retreating I wait for a second than walk in Emma fell asleep on him but when he saw me stop and my breathing stop tears slowly welling up he placed her on Evelyn and went to his room the movie ended and me and Evelyn woke Emma up
"Emma, wake uppp" Ev she's not waking up "kick her or something idfk" as tempting as it was I decided not to "can we just kill her and hid her body?" She looks at me and laughs it feels like old times "Girl what"

"She's annoying as hell doesn't it sound tempting?" Evelyn thought about it "nah just wake her up" I woke her up and she looked at us "where's Jordy?" I mentally take a deep breath than shrug "I don't know he left" she frowns and looks up the stairs "Oh okay well I have an idea what if we have a sleepover!" I hear ev take a sharp breath "it's up to you Tay" and try not to smile "Umm idk about that"I looked at Evelyn and she gave me help me eyes "Please it'll be funnnn" I groan and rub my temples "I'm really tired Emma"

"Which why we should have a sleepover!"
I looked at Evelyn one last time knowing she won't back down and caved "Okay" and I let out a breath"Yay! We are going to have so much fun! Let me call my mom" she rushed off the bed and goes to the phone excitedly "EV! WHAT THE HELL" she looks at me apologetically and takes my hand "What you know she wouldn't have taken no as an answer we could just sleep early and tell her to leave tomorrow morning"

"Okay whatever" I feel agitated and just walk away getting to the room and they walk in soon after we were all getting ready for bed when she took the bed with Evelyn you were annoyed even though I didn't want to sleep on the same bed as her what if she stabs me in the back again but didn't want to fight so just slept on the floor

Emma goes to the bathroom and ev sits up
"Taylor are you sure I could sleep with you on the ground" even when we were both angry we still care "no its fine it's just for tonight" you said than added in a hushed tone "if we don't argue we can fall asleep faster and have this over with and never have to invite her ever again" she smiles and grabs my hand "im so sorry I didn't mean to hurt you I just I'm so sorry I don't know what came over me and I cannot believe I did that I'm such a bad person and I understand if you don't want to forgive me but I love you and I don't ever want to hurt you again" I let my walls fall and hug her "it's okay I'm all better now and it doesn't hurt I'm fine and I forgive you it was heat of the moment and it could happen to anyone"

She frowns and shakes her head "but I didn't check on you I was so focused on you and Jordan liking each other that I was blinded by range and although it could happen to anyone it happened to you and I was the cause of it I'm so sorry" I feel tears falling and she wipes them away "she's coming back but I forgive you okay I love you just let her sleep here for now" she smiles and hugs me again "Okay but if she rolls around I'm killing you I love you

I laid there not able to sleep it was now 6:43
I was thinking about Jordan and how he acted today when I hear something strange Emma getting out of bed but why she thought we were both asleep and crept outside maybe she was using the bathroom but she was gone for way too long I got up and try to find her and whisper into the dark hallway "Emma?" God where is she I was about to give up till I saw Jordan's door slightly open "There no way" he wouldn't do that to me or is he like that with all girls does he just get bored and invite out friends in his room all these possibilities are running through my head and I can't take it I feel like having a panic attack

I crept over and looked into the room she was in there with him they were both awake and the light was on oh my goodness what are they doing She started to walk up to him and tried to kiss him but he pushed her off "No get off of me, I don't like you" she wines and pouts ew she's pouting "Come on if you don't like me than who do you like" he scoffs and moves away from her
"I'm not going to tell you it's none of your business" she gets up and crosses her arms
"Than I'll go tell the girls you kissed me"

I saw panic on his face and he stands up "you wouldn't" she looks smug oh god I wanna wipe that off her face she's such a- "Yes I would" she started to walk to the door when he said "fine okay fine it's Taylor but you can't tell her please don't tell her I wanna tell her in a special way"
I stood there shocked and flustered I already knew he liked me but I haven't heard him say it directly she scoffs and walks off  "Okay whatever I'll see you tomorrow"

I ran to the room and went back to the floor the damn uncomfortable floor and a minute later she walked in and went back to bed I woke up and saw they were still asleep I went to wash my face so I can relax when she said "he likes you yk"
I want to make her feel stupid so I say "yeah I do and I like him too"

I came back and saw she was gone but there was a note damn she made a getaway in the middle of the night thank whatever god helped us

"Had to go home my mom needed me but I had fun!"

"Thank god, ev wake up she's gone!" She wakes up and smiles "Thank the lord, let's go get breakfast" we both go downstairs and heat up some eggos because why not they are so good and remind me of happy memories "Who invited her anyway?" Ev shakes her head and smiles "I did I thought it would be fun and I kinda wanted to rile you up so we could argue and make up I'm sorry but she's changed I think she just likes us now cuz of Jordan"

"I think so too she has way to much energy and that's a pretty good Idea that funny" I smile and so does she " I know huh but anyways Yes she does, I forgot to tell you Benny asked me out for 5:00 so you should help me get ready around than"

"Okay he's scrimmaging Jordan at noon so he might stink"

"Shut up" she said laughing and hitting me playfully  "Should we watch?"

"Yeah why not"
