Chapter 17 - I love you

"Hey Evelyn we have to go" Benny holds her hand and looks at her like she needs to remember something she looks at him puzzled "oh yeah we promised yeah yeah we would be at the sandlot at 6:00"

"Okay well we will be at my house if you guys wanna come over later we could all watch a movie or something" Benny smiles and as they are running away says something like they will think about it

"Is it just me or is he being weirder than usual"  he looks at me and tucks my hair behind my ear than looks at the both of them one last time
"Definitely but hey we should get going soon okay I wanna show you something when we get home"

We arrive home and he grabs both of my hands leading he somewhere "okay I want you to close your eyes" I do so and I can hear soft music in the background and smell candles?
"Okay open your eyes" I open my eyes and see my mom next to the table which is set and there's flowers, candles, and music

"What is all this?" I turned around and saw him pull a little bag out of his pocket "Taylor Timmons will you do me the best honor of being my girlfriend?" I quickly realized what he was asking will you make this relationship public

I smile big and say yes nodding my head and hugging him he kisses me and gives me and necklace with the number 14 and his initial on it "Jordan it's beautiful thank you"

He extends his arm and I see how happy he is "will you join me for dinner?" I smile and grab his hand "why of course" he pulls out the chair and goes to his side of the table

My mom comes out with my favorite type of food Italian I smile taking how it smells because it reminded me of my dad "Jordan you didn't have too" he puts his hand atop of mine "he should be here too it's the least I could do"

As my mom leaves I mouth to him I love you and he does it back "this is perfect everything about it how did you do it?" Well I had help of course but I really wanna tell everyone about us because I love you and I wanna show everybody how much u do"

"Te amo amore mio" he looked almost confused and smiles amused "you know Italian" I look away almost showing him how red my face got because of the fact he knew it was Italian "yeah it was one of the last things my dad showed me before everything happened but I've never told anyone till now "I'm glad you told me I feel special

"You are special" as the music died down and we finished our food he grabbed my hand guiding me to dance he grabs my waist and I rest my head on his chest "are you completely sure you wanna do this I mean what about ev or your dad I don't want you getting hurt-" "nothing will hurt more than losing you us being together has been on my mind for years a part of me has always loved you and now that you love me too I never want to feel how I did before you ever again"

The side door slides open and my mom sticks her head out "I just got paged and the boys are at a sleepover I'll be back tomorrow" I look at Jordan knowingly "okay mom thank you I'll be going to bed soon love you" she walks farther away and her voice dies out as she gets closer to the front door "I love you guys too" the car door slams and the car pulls out of the driveway and we go into the house

Jordan grabs my chin and kisses me passionately backing me on to the sofa "I love you" he whispers against my skin "I love you" he says again "say it" I know what he means immediately "I love you" I gasp out "can I show you how much I love you I feel like we rushed into the first time I'll make you feel so good and so special" he rubbed his hands agains the sides of my thighs "yes please baby" 

He picks me up my legs wrapping around his waist and places me on my bed locking the door behind him just in case he puts his hand under my shirt and tugs on the bottom I pull it off and he reaches for my bra clasp "is this okay" he rubs his thumb on my back I groan a yes in approval as the throws it across the room I struggle to pull his shirt off
