After breakfast is all cleaned up we go to my room "shit I have practice today" he looked at me a little upset but I could see he was excited about it "what time do you have practice?"
"At 4, what if eve is there yk to look for me?" I think for a moment I really want to go but I don't want things to get even more complicated "I'll go with you and I'll talk to her if she is there but if she isn't than we'll be okay.
He looks at me lovingly a way I never thought he would "thank you for being here and actually understand and listening" "of course I always will" he hugs me tightly like I would disappear if he'd let go
He than put his hands in my hair and kisses me softly slowly backing me into the wall I put my hands in his hair while his hands go to my waist we've kissed so many times but this one felt different more passionate
As he put his forehead on mine he looked at me and lifted me up spinning me around "I love you always have and always will because I know your there for me no matter what and I'll be there too."
"Jordan why are you telling me all this now?"
He looks at me, a hint of sadness in his eyes "because I saw how it was with my parents when they kept secrets I don't want that to happen to us"
"It won't happen to us I promise we will communicate and tell each other everything trust is everything you know I think it's stronger than love" he looks at me "I trust you" I give him a quick kiss "I trust you too"
"How about in 30 minuets since we have time we get some ice cream?" He walks over to his bag making sure his practice stuff is there "yeah that sounds fun it could be like our first official date" all the sudden I felt giddy a first date? We haven't gone on one yet and I was thinking it would be a quick thing but now maybe we could do more
"You okay? You have that smile on your face your thinking" I walk over putting my hands in his and smile again "you're right it is our first date and I was just thinking about what could happen and where else we could go?"
"You want to go to the flower shop too? I always see you looking in the window at the chrysanthemums" I look at him surprised how did he know my favorite flower? "Jordy those flowers cost a fortune" he reaches in his pocket and smirks "I have my dad emergency card and it wouldn't hurt he won't even notice"
"Jordy what if he does" he shrugs "so what he's already out for my head" I feel bad and put my hand on his chest "we'll see when we get there" he laughs knowing he won
30 minuets later and I tell my mom we are going downtown and we will be back after his practice so around 7 she okay okay and gives me money if we want to go to the movies after
He grabs my hand rushing out yelling bye while we laugh "are you ready to have the best first date with me" he puts his arm over my shoulder "idk are you?"
"Why wouldn't I?" As we are walking
I m see Evelyn and Benny walking behind us but they haven't seen us "shit it's Evelyn" I grab his hand and we run around the corner but as soon as we do we see the other boys from the sandlot and smalls approches us "hey Taylor what are you doing with him?"
"I was downtown and so was he and we ran into each other crazy coincidence!" He looks between us and sees we are still holding hands "then why is that happening?" I look at Jordan "because she almost fell and I caught her don't want her falling again"
"I don't believe you" "well too bad I have to go and so does he!" We runaway and see him talking to Evelyn and Benny but seemed to forget when he say they had a ball and said they were going to the sandlot
