Chapter 11: Same Hope, Different Sides (Part 2)

Nam-hyun was running in his life through the hallway as he tried to escape, Gwi-nam followed behind but an infected suddenly attacked him. He eventually killed the zombie using the same knife that he killed the principal.

As he sees Nam-hyun running away, gaining more and more distance, Gwi-nam threw the knife onto him. Thankfully, the council president didn't got badly hurt thanks to the knife landed vertically on his back. He stumbled then after he collided with an attacking zombie and grabbed the phone that he used and run foward, with Gwi-nam following right behind him.

As the two were now being chased by hordes of zombies, they eventually went to the library.

Nam-hyun stopped, only realizing there's also hordes of zombies inside. So, the only thing he could think of is to run on top of bookshelves. Gwi-nam on the other hand, fights off those same zombies.

The council president then was asked by an uninfected student. "You were bit, right?"

Nam-hyun said he isn't.

Instead of helping him, in a somewhat dumb decision, the student dumps the council president down. Gwi-nam followed suit and dumps the student down, leading him to have bad karma and to be bitten at the same time.

He then went back down in hopes of finding Nam-hyun, who was struggling to get back at his feet, while fighting off zombies in his way.

Both boys have one mission in mind, fend off the zombies while finding the phone that the council president found. The same phone in which caught Gwi-nam killing the school principal.

The two have stuggled to get the zombies laying low on them, so Nam-hyun decided to climb back up to the bookshelves. One infected person followed suit and tried to attack the council president, but failed after hanging, and failing, at the lights.

Once Gwi-nam also climbed through the bookshelves, the two continue to chase each other until they stopped and looked at each other's eyes.

"Just surrender already.," says Nam-hyun.

"Never.," Gwi-nam answered. "Until you gave me the phone."

"You killed the principal, you murderer.," the council president fired back.

"You made me kill him in the first place.," Gwi-nam again fired back. "You even said that I did that to prove that I wasn't a loser."

"You really want to do this?," Nam-hyun questioned.

With that, the run again until Gwi-nam grabbed Nam-hyun, making him fall to the ground and fighting with the zombies. Good thing he fend them off and came back to the top of the bookshelves, but unfortunately the bully met the council president and continued fighting.

Little that they didn't know is that the zombies are approching to the bookshelf that they are fighting with, causing them to stood up again.

Nam-hyun then used another hanging lights like a weapon and swinged it at Gwi-nam, but it didn't worked. This result of the latter pinning the council president down, slowly going to his head to the hungry, infected zombies.

"Do you really want to live, do you?," Gwi-nam asked a life-threatening question, rather than a simple question.

The bully pinned the council president down even more before punching him multiple times, thus thinking he had more time for that question.

Gwi-nam then grabbed the phone from Nam-hyun's pocket when suddenly the council president slapped the hand and regained the phone.

This made Gwi-nam got a little angry and pinned Nam-hyun down again.
