Chapter 21: Twisted Fates

A couple of mintues later, the group find peace after emotional messages for Jin-ji were conveyed between them while both On-jo and Nam-hyun were on separate locations within the rooftop. Suddenly, I-sak stood up.

The vice president got curious about what just transpired. "What is it?," she asked.

"It's him.," I-sak answered.

It turns out that the one I-sak have been describing with was Gwi-nam who's arriving in the scene.

From not afar, On-jo immediately stood up upon his arrival and tried to call for help but she got silenced by the hambie.

"On-jo-ah!," Nam-hyun yelled. Everyone in the campfire immediately stood up from the commotion once they head the council president shouting.

As soon as he heard his voice, Gwi-nam rushed to Nam-hyun as the council president runs towards him, but the hambie's strength is no match for him. He was pinning him towards the ground, trying to grab his eye that he always wanted from the day he became a hambie.

The council president is screaming, trying to do whatever he can to push the bully away from his left eye as he desperately wanted it, and Nam-ra tried do anything about it. She wanted to help at all, just for his little brother but after seeing the pain, she felt like she can't move. She can't help at all.

On-jo, since she was the closest among him, tried to push him away but Gwi-nam strongly pushed her away, leading to Hyo-ryeong and Ji-min helping her back up. Nam-ra, who is still frozen from all the commotion, decided to look out on Jin-ji, who is covering her ears alongside I-sak. Both girls' ears were deafening caused from the roaring thunder that just sounded earlier.

Su-hyeok then kicked Gwi-nam off of Nam-hyun, while Cheong-san quickly helped the council president to get back up as the former and the bully started fighting again like from earlier in the day. But unfortunately for Su-hyeok, Gwi-nam was just too strong enough, so he kicked the boy into a pile of chairs. Joon-yeong quickly approched him to check if he was hurt or not while Cheong-san and Gyeong-su are now holding on the council president.

The hambie then roamed his eye towards the rooftop and saw a static Jin-ji, rather than the one she was earlier. In concern, he tried to approach the vice president but Dae-su stopped him.

"Who the heck are you? Are you a One Heart Club member?," he would ask. Gwi-nam then looked at the jacket he is wearing. "You don't know me? How the hell would you not know me?," he then asked, targeted at Nam-hyun.

"I said it once and I said it again: You were the bullies' gopher.," the council president answered.

Gwi-nam raises a hand to try to attack them again. Wu-jin and Dae-su flinches for a bit while Cheong-san and Gyeong-su stood their ground with Nam-hyun, who didn't even blink for a second. "Call me that again and you're dead.," he threatened.

"You were never a gangster nor a good student and now, you're neither a human nor a zombie.," the council president fiercely said. "We still have some unfinished buisness but right now and then, you're nothing."

Gwi-nam nodded but unimpressed with the answer. "I'm going to kill you. Nah, nah, I'm not just going to kill you and gouge both of your eyes out and feed your blind body to the zombies. I don't even care if you're related to someone.," he said before looking around and planned something of a deal.

"Or if you can, you can all live and forget everything. On one condition, give Jin-ji to me.," he offerred.

"This is between me and you, Gwi-nam. There is other no way Jin-ji can be involve with this.," Nam-hyun answered.

"Okay then. Everyone except Nam-hyun can leave unless you wanna die with him.," Gwi-nam then said but no one was dared enough to move, not even a single inch. "You're all dead.," he eventually said.
