Chapter 15: Contracted Problems (Part 2)

"Thank you so much, everyone.," Jin-ji said as she walks away. She knows that she would turn into a lifeless zombie as soon as she found out that she was bit.

"Hold on.," someone called, in which stopped her from walking. That someone was Su-hyeok, who was worried about the outcome if his little sister turned into a senseless creature.

The vice president just walked away until Su-hyeok grabbed her, deeply worried about the situation lying aroung him. "Trust me, jamae, you're not going to be one of them.," he said.

He then turns around to face everyone, with his left hand holding into Jin-ji's right arm. "She won't turn into a zombie.," he said. "If I-sak and Gwi-nam didn't turn, then my sister won't be. Trust me on this one."

"I saw Gwi-nam got bit while we fought.," Nam-hyun said.

"I fought him too, and that's all I know.," Su-hyeok answered back.

"But oppa, you saved me from death, right?"

Jin-ji tried to reason out, but Su-hyeok didn't answer.

Both silings ran to the window and Su-hyeok pushing the curtains aside and opened one of it.

"You see. If she turns, I'll throw her out onto the window so she would not attack you.," he said.

"Without hesitation? Seriously, oppa?," the vice president complained, but it didn't matter. "You don't have to do this.," she added.

"I saved you and I owe it to you. I can't let anything happen to you because I can't afford to lose you.," Su-hyeok said. "But this is for the safety of the others."

"I'm warning you, don't come closer.," he then said, this time at Cheong-san, who is still holding the music note stand.

"Screw you. I warned you first.," Cheong-san countered.

"Stay away.," Su-hyeok warned again.

"You think this is easy? Almost losing Gyeong-su was already enough. I just don't want to anyone anymore after what happened.," Cheong-san answered in between sobs. He just can't control his instincts if Jin-ji turned.

Just then, Nam-hyun quickly and slowly approched Cheong-san. "Stop this, Cheong-san. This would only make things worse.," he said, as he gets a hold onto the stand, in which Cheong-san quickly realized what the council president was trying to do.

"Nam-hyun have told you to stop it.," Su-hyeok said and the three boys fight, which only added the worries of the vice president, who puts that aside, but when she saw the commotion before her eyes, she already thought that enough was enough.

"Just stop it, the three of you!," Jin-ji finally screamed, and the three boys stop fighting. Su-hyeok and Cheong-san let go of each other's collars.

"If I feel strange at any way, at all, then I'll make sure I'll die to end it quickly.," she stated. Tears have already been streamed into her eyes.

"Besides, you guys are my friends.," she said while taking a glance at Cheong-san, then at On-jo, then at the others before continuing. "My only family.," she added while looking at Su-hyeok. "And my only love of my life.," she then glared at Nam-ra while saying that.

"And I don't want anything that will hurt anyone of you, even if it's because of me.," she finally said, looking back at Cheong-san, who just nodded.

"Mianhae.," the boy said.

"No need to say sorry, I understand that.," the vice president said with a sad smile before looking at Su-hyeok. "Oppa, kill me if I turn. Even if it's without hesitation.," she said. She then proceeded to sit at the side of the window, in which alarmed her brother.
