Nam-hyun quickly turned to the bitten arm before looking back at the group, slowly stepping back. "Gwaenchana. It's not what you think. Gwaenchana.," On-jo told as she walked towards him.
He now looked at his sister, who is sobbing while covering Jin-ji's ears, and couldn't help but to smile. "At least noona isn't alone when I'm gone now.," he internally said.
On-jo continued to move towards Nam-hyun, in which the council president continues to step back. The girl stomped on the ground after letting out a worried sigh. "I said it's okay. Don't do that. You'll be fine.," she said.
"On-jo-ah. No one...will die here today.," Nam-hyun reassures. "Don't say anything. Let's talk tomorrow, okay?," On-jo told him.
After seeing his classmates crying, Nam-hyun looked at his name tag, ripped it out of his uniform and gave it to On-jo. "You hold onto it and I'll hold yours.," he said after grabbing the girl's nametag out of his pocket.
Before On-jo would say anything, the council president walked towards the teary-eyed Nam-ra. He held onto his sister's hand by caressing it.
"I love you, my lovely big sister. Remember that your brother is always there for you, wherever you are, even if I'm here or not.," he said as he failed to keep his tears to himself upon looking into the class president's face.
"You just can't leave me alone, hyeongje. I need you the most now and I can't survive or even survive this long without you.," Nam-ra replied, as she is still sobbing on the pontential loss of her brother, who didn't hesitate but to hug her tightly. A tight but bittersweet hug.
Everyone else are either crying or sobbing or even both for that matter.
"Be the best leader you can be. Just please take care of On-jo for me.," Nam-hyun whisperly said before approaching an also teary-eyed Jin-ji as he hugged the class vice president as well. "Please take care of noona, and thank you for being there for her.," he also whisperly said.
The vice president tried to stand up but the sound of the drones make her struggle to do so.
As Nam-hyun was about to leave, On-jo grabbed him by his hand and pulled him towards her, crashing their lips from one another. After a few seconds, the council president pulled her away with a genuine smile off his face. He thought of walking away again, but hesitated and gave her a hug.
After a few moments, the council president felt something of a weird sensation in him, so he pulled away from the girl once more. This time, towards both Cheong-san and Su-hyeok. Both boys are crying as well from the commotion.
"Cheong-san, Su-hyeok, go to the first floor.," he told them, with the latter nodding. But before he can leave, someone called his name.
"Yah! Choi Nam-hyun!"
It was Nam-ra. His cold but lovely big sister seeing him potentially for the last time. "When I find you and you recognized me, I'll find a way to kick you back like old times.," the class president threatened but it didn't matter. The boy just only smiled and officially left.
Nam-ra trying to follow her little brother before breaking down, knowing she'll never see her brother again.
"Yah! Come here and get me! All of you! Today, I'm the happiest guy in this school!!," Nam-hyun shouted, attracking every single zombie in the building.
A few minutes have passed, Mi-jin peaked at the window, seeing that there were still zombies roaming around, only to find out that there were none. "Ha-ri-ah, let's go.," she called. The archer quickly wiped her tears, composing herself. Aside from So-ju, her and Mi-jin needed their juniors the most now. "We have to go.," she said, telling everyone.
