"Don't touch me," Charlie yelled and pushed Shane as he tried to reach for her. "Don't touch me!"

It was his fault. Everything that happened was all on him because he couldn't keep his temper together. He broke Carol but also broke Greene's family - a family that they were dependent on if they wanted to go through the winter. At the same time, they could finally move on from their searches. Her sight became blurred as tears were coming to her eyes.

The next thing she knew was a girl with almost white hair- Beth passed her and knelt right next to one of the Walkers that someone from Charlie's group just killed. She was crying over the body of her mother, turning her, so she was on her back. She probably wanted to see her face one last time, even though it was deformed and rotten. Charlie was looking at it with furrowed eyebrows because she was sure her mother didn't look like this. So why would she want to remember her mom like this?

Then Beth screamed.

"Pull her away!" yelled Rick as everyone ran to help the girl because it turned out that the Walker was still alive. It was chaos again when everyone ran to rescue the girl. Charlie took out her knife and moved toward the chaos that broke out. She stabbed the Walker who used to be the woman in the head with one swift motion and as she did that once, a wave of anger washed over her so she did that again and again.

"Hey, hey, hey." she heard in her ear as someone's arms were wrapping around her. "It's dead."

She pushed the person away and she took out the blade from the Walker's face. Charlie looked at Daryl and Shane and then she walked away.

After everyone calmed down and walked away from the house, Charlie left her hiding spot in the bathroom and decided to sit on a rocking chair. She saw that people were digging holes, so they could bury their loved ones, but she didn't help and later she didn't go to the funeral, because it was stupid. God didn't exist, if he did he wouldn't let that happen. He wouldn't let Sophia die. She was the most innocent creature with the purest heart, she didn't deserve a death in such pain...hell he wouldn't even let everything of this happen.

At the thought of Sophia dying in the woods, scared and alone, Charlie felt like laughing. She didn't believe that her brothers were still alive- four athletic men who knew how to use guns and how to survive in the woods, yet she believed that little Sophia would be somewhere in the wild, hiding. Daryl was right, she was a stupid bitch.

"Why are you here?"

She tore her eyes from people away. "Where should I be?"

"Funeral," Daryl asked. "You should bid her goodbye, you were close."

She was close with her, because of how much time she spent with her at the quarry. She was shy, but Charlie discovered the other side of her that was bright, smiley, and with a sense of humor. Sophia took something from her today...or rather when she died. It was a small part of her heart and she just couldn't stand there with everyone around and cry as she imagined how she felt alone.

"You won't talk to me now?"

"What do you want me to say, Daryl?!" she asked. "What do you want to hear? I feel like an idiot because I really thought we could find her? That you could find her?" she raised her brows. "What's the point of all of this?"

"It's good to say goodbye." Daryl shrugged.

"It's a waste of time," she said. "We're losing people all the time, no matter what we're doing! Maybe it was better to stay in the CDC?"

He narrowed his eyes. Her words just made him sure that his suspicions were right - she wanted to stay in the CDC and die, which made him even angrier. How a person that was making him better and made him want to live, was the person that wanted to end her life.
