Time passed, and my life never went back to normal like I thought it would. I guess nothing can ever go back to normal after you find your best friend's body and never find out who did it. I also never got things back to normal with Charlotte, because she seemed to always have this kind of a necessity to fight with me, even for stupid reasons. I never understood why, though.
I really became besties with Liv and Lia, while Charlotte made friends with some girls I knew from history class. They weren't good people. Always making fun of someone. I said nothing to Charlotte, though, because deep inside I knew she kind of deserved to experience fake friendship, just like she did to me.
When it was exam week, me and the twins would study together after school everyday, and, one day, we met Charlotte at the cafeteria. As Lia was very outgoing, she had already spoken to Charlotte previously sometimes, so she asked me if I wanted her to talk to her and ask, like if she was just asking out of curiosity, what was wrong. I accepted, a little reluctantly, but I did.
While Lia was talking to Charlotte, Liv and I went to the ice cream parlor next to the cafeteria, after Lia promised she'd meet us there. She did, almost an hour and a half later, with less information than I expected. I guess I was expecting too much from some kind of spy thing or whatever we were doing
- She got real mad at me, but said she just doesn't want to speak with you anymore
- Did you even ask why? - Asked Liv
- Of course I did. - And that is when the information comes - She thinks you are the murderer.
