- Tell me already! - I yelled at the twins, mad
- We... we're... moving.- Answered Lia, reluctantly
How was that even possible? One day, everything was perfect and the next day my best friends are moving?
- What? Why? - I asked, almost crying. The twins were crying, so I thought "why not?" and the three of us were suddenly crying in the middle of the hallway.
They left immediately, while I was still crying. I actually cried for a solid 10 minutes. I was still crying when I heard the school alarm. Everyone was running, yelling, screaming, and it was all really confusing! I didn't know what was happening, but it wasn't the fire alarm and people were saying the gates were closed so I locked myself in the restroom. At least I thought I had.
I sat there and kept quiet, while I texted Fred. He was also locked in a restroom. I was already calm when it happened. Charlotte broke into the restroom, holding a knife. I immediately started crying and fighting her.
- I was the one. - she started - The one who killed Leah, the one who hurt Liv and Lia. And now... Now you are my target. You were always my target, but I had to hurt your friends first. And now, it's your turn.
I had never imagined Charlotte as the murderer. I was crying a lot, what made me too scared to fight. And that was it. She stabbed me. She murdered me. My very first friend.
