After that, school was closed for a while for investigation, and being at home was not as good as I thought it would be. My parents still had to go to work, of course, and it took a week for me to convince them to let my friends visit me. I know they were doing this because they were worried about me, but I needed my friends, to talk to them, even if it was just about how to keep safe.
I never invited Charlotte because she seemed pretty mad at me for some reason. Even more than she already seemed, so I invited Fred, and Lia and Liv, the twins who had a lot of classes with me. I ended up inviting them way more times than Fred, and I felt they would be my new best friends.
