Weston's POV:

It's been a few days since Grady's date. And I am pretty sure it went well. Because lately, he has a smile that never leaves his face, he's constantly humming 'As Love is My Witness', and, he honestly seems happier than he has been. He's still acting strange, but hey, it's an improvement.

Grady and I had just pulled up in front of the cafe. Grady needed a ride to work, so I said I'd pick him up. He also told me he has been coming to see Sarah before heading in to work, so, that's what we're doing now.

"Thanks, Weston. I really appreciate this." Grady told me as we entered.

"No problem," I smiled. At that moment, my gaze landed on a familiar young woman. She was waiting on a middle-aged couple. She then looked up at me and smiled. I smiled back. I could suddenly feel my wolf's presence. Something I hadn't felt since...Kelly...My wolf had retreated to the back of my mind and I hadn't seen or heard of him since.

"Grady!" a voice exclaimed, bringing me out of my daze. I saw that it was Sarah, waving happily to Grady. Grady smiled and walked over.

"Hi, Sarah," he said softly. "Can I order two hot chocolates again, please?"

"Of course. Anything else?" Sarah nodded.

"Two double chocolate chip cookies." Grady replied.

While Grady ordered, I couldn't take my eyes off the girl. Where did I see her...?

Before I knew it, she walked up to me. "Can I help you with anything, sir?" she asked me.

"Oh, no, thank you, ma'am. I'm just here with my friend." The girl nodded and walked away. I watched her until Grady walked over, saying he was ready to go. I nodded and waved goodbye to the young woman and left.

 Leanna's POV:

That stranger was pretty handsome. And, I could be wrong, but I think he was the one that I met on the night of Sarah's cousin's party. He seemed kind and gentle. But there was something about him....I could see it in his eyes. He was sad.

It was now lunch time. Sarah and I were eating together, as usual. And she was again, telling me about her date.

"He was just so charming...And there's something about him, Le....He just draws me in....It's like we're connected. Do you think he's my soulmate?"

"I don't know about that one, Sarah. But I am glad your date went well. Even if this is the tenth time this week hearing about it...." I remarked.

She gave a guilty smile. "Heh...Sorry..."

"It's fine. I know you're just excited," I smiled at her.

"Leanna, can I tell you something else about the date? I never told you this." Sarah's smile turned into a frown.

 "Ok..? What's wrong?"

"Well....It's true the date went well. But at the same time, it felt awkward. Grady seemed really....serious. Well, he was attempting to be serious and professional. But it definitely doesn't suit him. When I asked him about what he did for work, he told me he was the third in command for a company. Like, a third CEO I guess. But he seemed so.....I don't even know. But there's something about him that makes me wanna hug him. He seems really....Off....If that makes any sense. I know I haven't known him long, but I know somehow, that's not the real Grady. I want to get to know the real Grady..."

I frowned as she spoke. She seems really connected to this guy. Which is weird because they just met. "Maybe you can talk to him? I agree, you seem to have this connection with him. Your eyes sparkle whenever you talk about him. Sarah, I've never seen that before. Even with Brad! And he was your biggest crush ever." She smiled a little, nodding. I made a straight face, wanting to ask something serious. "Sarah, do you love Grady?"

Sarah's eyes went wide. She looked down and shook her head. Her voice shook as she answered. "I-I don't know...I-I mean we just met! But....I-I just feel....I feel something for him I have never felt for anyone before.....I-I never even felt this way for Brad...." she said softly. "When I'm with Grady, it just feels so right....I feel comfortable and so happy with him. I feel giddy and excited in the morning about coming to work, knowing I might see him come in the cafe. I love talking about him and being around him....Ugh! This is insane! I'm in love with a total stranger! How can I feel like this!?" she exclaimed, nearly pulling her hair out.

"Calm down, girl!" I exclaimed, standing up, holding her shoulders. "It's ok. I can't explain why you feel this way or why and how you've fallen in love with a stranger. But I know if he makes you feel this way....Then he might be your one. Your prince charming."

"How do you know, Leanna...?" she asked, her voice cracking.

I just smiled, chuckling. "Because I live with parents who love to tell the story of how they met all the time." Sarah looked at me curiously. I sat her down before sitting beside her myself, my arm around her. "When my mom was 20 and dad was 18, they quite literally bumped into each other. They were in a Duncan Donuts and mom was carrying a caramel iced coffee. So, when they bumped into each other, the drink spilled onto mom."

"That must've been pretty awkward. And cold for your mom." Sarah chuckled.

I laughed. "It was. Dad was so embarrassed and kept apologizing. He insisted upon buying another coffee for mom. They sat together, sipping their drinks, talking and getting to know each other. They told me that they felt so comfortable and happy being with each other. They started meeting every day. And it wasn't long before they started dating. After about a year, they got engaged. And six months later, mom and dad married. Only a couple years later did mom become pregnant with me. They say that their love for each other is just as strong if not stronger than when they first met. They were always excited to see each other when they were getting to know each other and when they were dating. They both had feelings for each other but didn't realize it was love until six weeks after the Duncan Donuts incident."

"That's a sweet story, Le..." Sarah smiled.

I nodded, smiling. "Yea. I always did love to listen to it. But see, they had just met, but they had feelings for each other."

"But I started developing them when I first laid eyes on him! I gave him my number! He bought me a cocoa!" she exclaimed. "I just don't understand my feelings..."

"I know...I know..." I whispered, hugging her. "It's ok to be confused. Mom and dad were confused about their feelings too. Especially dad. Just take things slow. Don't rush into a relationship. If you're meant to be with him then you'll be with him. If not, he's not the only branch on the tree."

"It feels like he is...The thought of him with another girl breaks my heart....The thought of us not being soulmates breaks my heart..." Sarah spoke sadly.

I frowned and nodded. She's honestly never been like this before. I mean, obviously the thought of her crushes with other girls hurt her and them not being soulmates hurt her, but I don't think it broke her heart. I wonder if....Maybe they are soulmates....?
