"Oh my God!!!" Theresa screeched into my ear while jumping at a spot, after she finished tying the string to my corset dress.
"I actually can't breathe" i wheezed, finding it hard to breathe in due to the way she tied the corset.
"You looking so beautiful!" she screeched again at the same time ignoring the fact that i can't breath well.
"Please reduce the pressure" i begged this time. A scowl appeared on her face due to my persistence.
"What? You look good in the dress. It brought out your shape... " she leaned in closer whispering to me "have i ever told you that you have a nice, decent set of boobs?"
"The tightness is constraining my air flow" she scoffed with an eye roll before turning me around sharply, going ahead to reduce the pressure the corset had on my body.
I let out a sigh of relief finding it more easier to breath. I thanked her the same time the girl from ss1 who i heard was good at tying gele stepped in.
"I am ready senior Theresa" she chimed with a warm smile on her face. I heard she did a training in one of the biggest, luxurious and most expensive beauty establishment in Lagos so i guess we were in good hands.
"So first with the make up then we can go on with the head gear" Theresa instructed.
After a long week of creativity and cultural display of different customs and traditions as well as histories, stories and tales of all sorts, we had finally come to the end of the cultural week.
Today being the final day also tagged cultural day, there will be a lot of social activities and a form of get together....
Let's just call it a party...
My dress is just on point. I never knew Fancy Falilat was this good. She made me a corset dress, the lower part was a mermaid style while the sleeve was of a shiny soft skin net with a two step flare at the wrist.
I need no one to tell me i look good... I look fucking good. The glitz and glam on the corset was an added advantage, it made me look like a high class lady.
After finishing up with the make up and gele which i tell you was really looking great. We both look like all these Aso Ebi bellas you see on Bella Naija.
She left to get dressed for the get together while i stare at my glittering shoes and purse. He got me these and i love it so much. I'm scared of wearing it because i have a feeling i will ruin it.
Raising up a pair, i turn it around my fingers, the red sole and name Louboutin screamed at my face.
Yep. It is designer. An original pair of Louboutin.
"Why are you staring at the shoes like a treasure?" Theresa berates me as she puts on her pair of earrings.
"Because it cost a fortune?" she snickered.
"Help me with this bracelet please?" she lifts her empty wrist while the said bracelet dangled on her well polished manicured finger. I take the bracelet from her placing it on her wrist, locking it in "he doesn't care if it cost half of his bank account, he just wants to make you happy and he hopes that you love it"
"I love it" i said, a smile spreading on my face.
I got the package early this morning and i haven't seen him to thank him.
We will see during the get together anyway.
My stomach jump excitedly at the prospect of seeing him. I wonder what he would look like in his complete native wear.
