Heaven Headquarters
Aziraphale's Office

It has been quite a while since Aziraphale was on Earth. He knew 3 months had passed by according to the human calendar. Yet, he could feel it in his bone the slow passing of time whilst in heaven.

Once again, he stood in his bare blinding white office, and sat on his uncomfortable chair. In front of him, the only other piece of furniture: his desk filled with files and requests needed his approval. He had left everything untouched and unread today. He was just sitting at his desk with closed eyes while his mind was slipping away. His memories on Earth flooded his mind and acted as gateways to his reality.

He thought of his bookshop. Full of cluster and character. The smell of coffee and tea in the mornings. The sound of heavy rain during his afternoon reads. The warmth of the room, especially when Crowley was around. He didn't know if Crowley ever noticed, but Aziraphale would miraculously turn up the heat when Crowley turned up at his shop. He was never quite comfortable at normal temperature settings and would end up leaving sooner.

He would give anything to feel that warmth again. Heaven was supposed to give you your heart's desire, but nothing could replicate that warmth.

"Ah-hem, am I interrupting something? Can I come in?" asked a voice across the room.

Aziraphale took a short break before opening his eyes. He recognized the voice and realized that his wishes of complete silence for the rest of the day would be unfulfilled.

"There is no door stopping you, Michael" he said bitterly. "What do you want?"

"Now now, there is no reason to pout, is there?" she said.

"What. Do. You. Want?" repeated Aziraphale.

"Oh nothing much, just checking in on your progress leader supreme" she said ironically

"Have no fear. When there is something for you to know, I will let you know" he said while pretentiously glancing at the documents in front of him.

"But you see Aziraphale, I do have a lot of fear. You are supposed to be planning the Second Coming and there is no angel in ALL OF HEAVEN" she instantly regretted raising her voice, "who knows your plans" she said trying to hold back her frustration.

"All in good time, and as you can see, right now is not a good time" he said while gesturing to the piles of files in front of him.

Michael stared at him with a piercing fixed gaze , as if her persistence would change Aziraphale's mind.

"I'm sorry, it appears that I wasn't perfectly understood. You may go now." he said with a smile at the end. He knew that would kill her a bit inside.

"Fine! Do it your way" she said. "See if anyone follows you at the end."

She hastily disappeared from Aziraphale's view. He was unfazed by her words. The Second Coming was been a top-secret mission wrapped under the possible failure of Armageddon. Few angels had gazed upon the planning of it, and by the heavens, Aziraphale would do anything in his power to stop any vengeful angel like Micheal from having any influence over it.

That's the reason he left Earth and his everything behind. All he could hope was that his everything would wait for him when all of it would it over.

"My Everything" he thought.

But only one thing accompanied this mind with his thought. Only one single thing.

"Crowley" he whispered so silently that the words barely left his mouth.
