"What the fuck?" Kathani yells when I finished recounting my meeting with Ashton earlier.....

FEW HOURS AGO.

I walk downstairs with my purse and black tote bag in hand,smothening my black dress and sighing.

I had a long day ahead.

I get downstairs to see Londyn setting up what seemed to be breakfast and Kathani was in the dining,files scattered all across the table,with her Ipad and laptop on.

She was on a call.

"Hey sis" I walk up to Londyn and take a sit on one of the high chairs,dropping my bags on the sitting room chair along the way as Kathani ends her call.

"Hey love. You are looking beautiful this morning. Whats the occasion?" She winks as she slides me a plate of scrambled eggs,Bacon and some bread.

"Well,first off...I have my interview with Vanity Fair today...Thanks for reminding me Miss. Manager" I glance back to look at Kathani whose cheeks go deep red.

"I am sorry girl, I've been so caught up with all the wedding shit.... I forgot to go through your schedule"

"Its okay...Norah was a dear to remind me and Matthew texted me anyways" I smile at her and she nods in appreciation.

"Plus, I need to head to the office as Leon is also preparing for a wedding too" I look back at Kathani again who looks away,blushing.

Young love...

"Then I have to go and try at Carter's again. Have Ashton's ear and try to get evidence to resolve this mess" I place a hand on my forehead taking a bite of my eggs.

It was good...

"Do you think you should try again after what happened" Londyn asks as she hands me a cup of tea.

I had told her about my little experience with Ashton that night at the club and also Kay and I's experience in his office.

"Well,I does not seem like I have any choice does it" I reply, dropping my cup and plate in the sink and picking up my bags and keys.

"He holds all the evidence concerning my case,so seeing him the only way I can vindicate myself."

"Too many things are at stake for me not to try Londyn" I hold her hands just before I step out the door.

"I'll see you in a bit,okay?"

"Okay"

"Bye Kathani" I yell on top of my voice and She responds with "Bye girl"

I get into my Mercedes and drive to Vanity Fair.

I get to Carter's and take a deep breath before stepping out of my car.I had decided to come straight from my interview with Vanity Fair before heading to the office. Just to get it over with.

Well here goes nothing....

I get to the reception and of course she let me through.I walk into the elevator and press the 30th floor.

I step out of the elevator into a very quiet floor,which apparently was just for him and his VP.

I walk towards the west wing which was his and suprisingly his assistant was quite welcoming today.

She asks my to sit on one of the white leather couches that where placed at one end of the room to form a waiting area,while she informed Ashton of my arrival.
