It was a rainy day and Miyeon was still under the covers sleeping peacefully.

Two soft knocks came from the bedroom door before her bodyguard entered.

"Miss... wake up, you have to get ready." Nicha whispered, sitting on the bed and stroking the face of the sleeping beauty who slowly began to open her eyes.

"Good morning Miss... did you sleep well?" Minnie asked, before leaning down slightly to kiss the girl's forehead which she nodded, blushing slightly.

You may be wondering: Why would her bodyguard give her a kiss on her forehead?

And well, Miyeon and Nicha have been friends since they were kids.

Nicha was the daughter of the maid who worked at the mansion where Miyeon lived.

Miyeon was an heiress, her parents didn't live with her because they were away on business and came back to her once or twice every three years, so they provided her with a maid to raise and help her.

Minnie and Miyeon were the same age, but Miyeon was nine months older than her.

Nicha and Nicha's mother lived in the annex reserved for the servants, but when Minnie was little, very often, she slept with Miyeon, so their relationship was very strong.

As she grew up Nicha decided that as a job she wanted to protect Miyeon, just as in school she protected her from bullies, so she wanted to protect her for life.

For Miyeon, Nicha was her only friend besides Sana.

Nicha was always there for her, if Miyeon was crying Minnie was there to hug her, if she needed to talk to someone, Nicha was there to listen.

The two girls had never been separated more than a few minutes and growing up, that bond had become even stronger.

After a few minutes, Miyeon got out of bed and Nicha left the room to go downstairs where the two would have breakfast before going to work.

As she entered the dining room, Minnie saw her mother setting the dishes on the table.

The girl approached the woman and back-hugged her, giving her a kiss on the cheek.

"Good morning mom. How do you feel today?" Nicha asked, smiling.

"Good morning dear. Why are you so happy this morning?" the woman asked.

"No big deal, I'm just... happy." Nicha explained, stealing a slice of bread from the table and putting it between her teeth, smiling.

"Good morning mom!" the two heard Miyeon's voice and looked in her direction, smiling.

Nicha's mom, over time, had also become Miyeon's mom, that's why the girl used to call her that.

"Good morning Miyeon-ah. Did you sleep well?" the woman asked, stroking her face.

Miyeon nodded and sat down at the table with Nicha.

The two ate in silence, exchanging a few words every now and then, before getting up and leaving the house.

The two girls arrived at the "Emerald Hotel", a hotel which included a world-famous chain of one of the best and most famous hotels and all of which were owned by the Cho family... soon owned by Miyeon.

The brunette and her bodyguard, after greeting the employees, headed to the older's office.

Entering the room, Miyeon went to the desk, noticing the envelope of a letter: it was from Bulgari, the famous clothing brand.

They invited Ms. Cho to take part in the fashion show that was to be held in Seoul that weekend.

"Min, you will have to accompany me to the fashion show this Saturday." Miyeon said "Promise me you'll never leave me alone?" the girl asked.
