"Shit! Shit! Shit!"

Purifier knew she wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed. She knew what many of her brethren called her behind her back. She knew how everyone thought the only thing she ever thought about was war and violence

But she was smart enough to know that this was a bad idea from the start!

But no! Observer just had to be the tentacle loli she is and decide to release their control of the bane of their entire species before the 2 of them even had the chance to retreat! Now here she was cowering in the sinking hull of one of their ships just so he wouldn't spot her, tearing her hair out with every resounding roar of distant cannons

"Hmm, seems I miscalculated." Observer sat silently beside her, stroking her chin completely unfazed by the fact they could permanently die in the next few hours if they didn't escape "Already he is providing valuable data."

"You... fucking BITCH!" Purifier experienced a moment of... anger would be too weak a word but she experienced it all the same and so lunged at the smaller Siren, wrapping her hands around the octopus lolis neck, her code going haywire

Purifier was meant to destroy anything that could cause damage or delay the Siren Races experiments. She was the executioner of her race, one of the hundreds that had once lived but now remained the only one when the rest of her sisters had been killed by the same man Observer had set free

"It's all about data to you!" She screamed at the confused Siren "Data this! Data that! When you staged this I thought we would keep him under control! Gain data that way! But you set the literal boogy man loose! You have freed our devil and all you can think about is data!"

"That is my programming?"

*Crack*

Purifier pulled her first back from her fellow bleeding face, the yellow blood slowly leaking out of Observer's cracked nose "Your programming? Tester is the one meant to employ new elements!"

*Crack*

"Your code is to observe! Observe!  Do not talk of programming to me when you have already broken it in this single act!"

*Smash*

Purifiers first punched straight through the hull of their hiding ship, water shooting in at a fast pace. Seems the ship had gone under at some point and now the pressure was pushing down hard

"Tell me... Observer..." Purifier glared at the bleeding Siren whose eyes had started to blur from the pain "What is the chance we survive?"

"78... 74... 62... 43... 20% and dropping" The Siren responded, her calculations still running despite her confusion and pain "Increase in water levels with the inability to escape Anti-Siren field have dropped the probability to 10% stabilising"

"What is the 10%" Purifier moved off of her fellow, floating above the water as it slowly seeped in

"5% chance of Siren forces rescuing us when we exit Anti-Siren field... 5% chance of survival if we break out now and try run from the Tyrant..."

"So we're fucked..." Of course, she would die here, or at least the current her. The last backup was centuries ago, soon after the 4th timeline when she had still been dealing with the PTSD of the very man Observer had let free "*Sigh* Let us hope our forces rescue us then"

Admiral Lutjens had seen many things in his life, especially since the invasion of an alien race. He had seen great men become broken shells of their former selves. He had seen weak pitiful men rise up and take command. He had seen politicians actually get along and not try to declare war every few seconds, though that had quickly changed once the Siren threat became more prominent
