Attack

Y/N moved down the hallways of the military with the danger of an encroaching storm, cape fluttering behind him like a deadly wave flaring out under his speed. Men moved out of his way as he came past, flattening themselves against the walls to avoid his path

Distantly, the sound of artillery fire and AA guns matched his own artificial heartbeat, the beat of human defiance against the insurmountable enemy that was the Sirens. he had been forged on the battle these men now waged and soon he would join them to fulfil that purpose

But first, he had another mission to attend to

Using the walls as a barrier Y/N ran without hesitation into them, smashing his body against the concrete to rapidly decrease his speed before taking off again, every collision resulting in giant cracks, small amounts of dust and hectically shaking lights

'Tirpitz is going to kill me!' Y/N paused in his rapid movement as the thought occurred, realising he had lost himself in the moment. He had moved like this many times before when the need to be somewhere outweighed the damages caused by doing so, which often led to hours-long lectures

Lectures he had diligently sat through if only to hear his loves lovely voice

But there was no Tirpitz to lecture him. Nor was there a Bismarck trying desperately to hide her giggles behind her hand. Or is Eugen hiding in the corner chowing down on some popcorn

He was alone

He had forgotten that

Shaking off the sudden feeling of loneliness that swam through his heart like a shadowy shark Y/N took off running again, though this time taking care to slow down just enough to not utterly decimate the walls he was running into

His body could handle the damage, the walls... not so much

Soon enough Y/N's intended location came into sight. One could have confused it for a vault door, if not for the group of armed men nervously standing outside of it. he could see it, the way their hands tightened on their weapons with every distant boom, the sweat the dripped down from their brow

"Sir!" One of the men, probably the captain judging by his uniform, snapped to attention and his squad followed. Y/N took note that this was someone else, not the same guard he had met last time, but that didn't really matter now

"Go aid your fellows in the defence. I have business here." Unexpectedly, the men didn't move from their position at his command. Normally Y/N would have been angry at such an occurrence, but he didn't have time to be so now. he was needed outside. This was merely a detour "I said move."

"I heard you, sir," the captain replied even as he stepped in the Super Battleship's way. Not that it did much to slow Y/N down as he simply walked into the man, his superior strength sending the man stumbling back

"Then why aren't you going?"

"Well..." The captain scratched the back of his neck, a flush of embarrassment growing over his cheeks "We were commanded to guard the prisoner no matter what and..."

"I was the one who asked for those orders to be given. I retract them now," Y/N waved his hand off-handedly as he inspected the vault locks. It truly was similar to those at a bank. Large bolts. Key pads. The works

"I'm afraid that's not how it works sir." The captain truly did sound remorseful so at least Y/N knew the man wasn't being difficult for the sake of pride or some other nonsense, but he didn't have time to waste on sorting out the command chain

"Go." The Kansen didn't raise his voice, didn't even turn to face the men, but they could feel the cold command in that simple word, one that compelled them to obey him. It wasn't mind control. Just pure authority he had gained through years of command
