Taking in a breath, (Y/N) stares at her reflection in the mirror. Before her stood a girl preparing for her first day of school in a new place.

Her hair was tied back half up to keep stray hair out of her face yet still, two strands framed her face, falling to add a soft look. Her hair parted down the right with some hair being tucked behind her ear. Her shirt was tucked into the brown skirt with a light gray vest resting on top. A red bow was tied loosely around her collar with the jacket of the uniform resting above it all.

Deciding how she looked was enough, (Y/N) grabs the bag by her feet, slinging it over her shoulder.

She shuffled along the floor doing her best to make sure she didn't alert her parents she was leaving. Such an attempt failed as her mom stopped her by the door while she was putting her shoes on.

"Did you eat?" She questions, concerned over her daughter's health. (Y/N) stares at her mom plastering on a smile.

"Of course!" She continued to look at her mom as she continued "I need to go now so I can get to class on time"

With those words she left out the door, leaving her mother behind her. Shutting the door she escapes before she can be yelled at about her health.

Humming a small tune she begins her walk towards the school which she would spend her day at. One where she would be able to meet up with a long distance friend for the first time.

The orange sky illuminated the area around her, her gaze settling on the rising sun. A heavy sigh escapes her lips as she pauses staring at the sunrise. Perhaps Rin was staring at the same sunrise back in Australia. Knowing that despite being separated by a large distance the fact they were under the same sky gave her comfort. Especially with the fact time zones weren't that far off, if he needed her she'd reply and vise versa.

Staring at the sky, she watches as the orange sky fades to blue and a bright ball of light peaks over the shore. A small bird flew past her head catching her attention. A soft smile formed on her lips as she watched it land on tree branches nearby, chirping to all who could hear.

She tilts her head at the bird, the bird following in her actions. A giggle escapes her lips as she remembers what exactly she was walking for. Waving the bird goodbye she follows the path to get to school listening to the music nature played for all who listened to hear.

Arriving at the gates she took in the school before her. It was different to what she was used to and a completely new environment. One she would hope to fit in to.

Small amounts of students were gathered around outside speaking to one another. Her eyes wandered around trying to spot a familiar red headed female. The only person she knew and would plan to stick to.

Unable to spot the girl, her nerves began to run a little rampant wanting to take over. Perhaps her luck was running out already, as she was super lucky to even attend a new school with someone she was familiar with.

A startled yelp escapes her lips as she feels weight press into her back. Arms wrapped around her shoulder pulling her into a hug.

"Kou?!" She stutters, a red blush painting her cheeks as attention turns on the two students. Kou releases her arms from around (Y/N)'s shoulder grabbing a hold of her arms, smiling widely at the older girl.
