(Y/N) never realized how crowded a hallway could get in school, let alone when students are quick to rush home.

Kou had gone ahead early, leaving her with unhelpful directions on how to get to the pool. The directions did nothing. Rather, it gave her the location of the pool instead of how to get there. She knew asking someone would be her best way to find the pool quicker, yet a part of her was too scared to approach anyone, she had to find someone she deemed nice enough to approach for the first time.

Her eyes landed on a tall boy with olive green hair. He seemed nice enough to approach. She started heading in his direction, a random boost of confidence overcoming her.

That was until she saw the tie he wore, unlike the red one she had it was green. Which meant he was older than her. Without thinking, her foot crossed over the other, turning her away from him with speed, planning to get away quickly.

She seemed to have moved too quickly as her other foot tripped over the one in front, causing her to go crashing down on the floor.

"Damn it. I'm clumsy off stage, but onstage I'm not. " She curses in English. Pushing herself up, she looks around, glad no one noticed her little trip to the floor.

Or so she thought.

"Are you okay?" Someone asks. Looking up, she spots the same boy she was about to approach, holding a hand out to her.

Internally cursing once more, she stares at his hand, unsure whether to take it or not. Would it be rude to take the hand or perhaps too weird to readily accept it?

Hesitantly, she takes his hand, surprised at his strength when he pulls her up. "Oh, uh, thank you,"

She said nothing else but rather adjusted her grip on the bag she was carrying. She grew slightly startled, noticing the presence of the blue-eyed boy beside him.

"Well, um….do you by chance know how to get to the pool, I am supposed to meet a friend there…" (Y/N) asks, she looks between the two a little embarrassed they had witnessed her short trip.

"Oh, we plan to head there now, you're more than welcome to join us." The olive green haired boy replies, "I'm Tachibana Makoto."

"Well, I'm (Y/N) (L/N) er, I mean (L/N) (Y/N)" She replies, rubbing the back of her neck awkwardly.

"The one next to me is Nanase Haruka," Makoto replied.

"It's Haru," The blue eyed boy replied, correcting Makoto. Makoto merely smiled at him.

"We actually have swim practice soon, again, you're more than welcome to join us!" Makoto smiles, nudging Haru slightly, who stared at the girl in front of them.

"Right." Haru says, turning away. He had already begun walking to the pool, a quick pace in his steps as though he wanted to swim as soon as possible, which is what (Y/N) observed. Perhaps that is what it was also.

She followed behind the two silently, allowing for them to fall into their own conversation. She herself had ended up observing the areas they'd pass, marking it in her head to map down the area and not get lost.

Glancing at the two boys in front of her, she did nothing to try and include herself in the conversation. After all, they seemed to know each other quite well.

Blinking, she looked up at Makoto, who was staring right back at her with a warm smile. She blinked a few more times, realizing he had asked her a question.

"I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that…" She draws out, rubbing the back of her head awkwardly.

"It's alright!" Makoto reassures her."I was asking where you were from. You're new, right?"
