Enough

Kakashi
I read the book softly to her, as i kept reading in thought about what happened in her room, the way she melted under my touch, they way her lips felt against mine i hadn't felt a spark like that before. I looked up at her and watched as peacefully slept.  As i continued reading a knock is heard at the door.
"Come in" I answered.
Dective Tsunade and dective Jiryia came in with notebooks in hand.
"She is resting come back another time." I said with a protectiveness to my voice.
"We came to apologize to you mr.Hatake, we just questioned your team and the doctor on duty. At the moment we have the suspect in custody, but unless Ms.Stone testifys we can't do anything." Says Dective Tsunade
"She won't, he made her sign a contract." I replied.
"What contract" asked Jiryia.
I sigh.
"Have Sauske call my tech girl Sakura to have her send you over Evers contract. If you two don't mind leaving she needs rest" i say as i lead them out of the room.
"Mr. Hatake please we really just want to help." Says Tsunade.
"Hmm Help....did you even look into any of her medical files. Her ribs have been broken multiple times, she has had a broken arm, a busted cheek bone! Help don't make me laugh." I say angrily as i push them out of the room.
"Kashi....." says a weak voice.
I turn and see Ever slowly sitting up.
"Hey don't strain yourself." I say as i make it to her bedside.
"Kakashi, I cant do it anymore tonight was so bad." She cried.
"I know I know. But your safe now and that's all that matters." I said reassuringly.
"I'm not safe though he knows when i have classes, my dance practices, he knows my whole schedule." She says as she looks down defeated.
"Look at me." I asked.
"I'm going to protect you..you safe with me." I reassured her.
She nods her head before slowly drifting back to sleep. I sat with her for a few more hours before bringing her back home, i laid her in her bed and stayed by her bedside. Her folks were angry and were demanding the police press charges against Austen. But the Dectictives said there was nothing they could do since Ever wouldn't say anything. By the time she woke up again it was noon.
Ever
As i woke up i looked at clock as it read 12pm. I looked around my room and saw Kakashi sleeping in my vanity chair. I slowly got out of bed and grabbed some clothes so i Can take a quick shower, i felt so unclean and numb i wanted to feel something. As i turned the water on my muscles tensed up. Stepping into the hot water made the feeling of numbness slowly go away and i felt relaxed. After taking a 45 min shower i stepped out and put on some fresh clothes before heading back to my room, walking back a lot of the staff were giving me looks of sympathy and it made me feel like a victim. I entered my room and closed my door quietly so i didnt disturb Kakashi. As i sat on my bed thinking about how bad last night could've gotten if Kakashi wasn't my bodyguard, would i even be alive right now, would i be in my bed at the moment...possibly not. Last night just proved that i have finally had enough. Looking at the engagement ring on my finger made me feel sick to my stomach. I removed it and tossed it across my room before I laid back down. I don't even remember closing my eyes because when i opened my eyes again it was the next morning and Kakashi was nowhere to be seen.
