•. COOL KIDS .• ACT I CHAPTER II (Madelyn)
MADELYN LOOKED AT her long mirror once more. Evie made her change from her white sundress into an 'Isle look'.
The blond decided to go with some black cargo pants, with a tight pink top, and a white, black leather jacket.
But, Mads wouldn't be her if she didn't accessorize her outfit. So, she grabbed her second favorite pair of black sunglasses and a scarf for her head that matched her top.
A few knocks filled the door as Madelyn was searching for the right pair of boots to go with her outfit, "The door is open!"
After going through her shoe collection for the fourth time she just decided to go with her classic, black Dr. Martens. "Woah, new style?"
Madelyn turns around to meet with the soft brown eyes of Percy Pan. The two have known each other since they were kids, because he and her brother Ani, were best friends. And just like in almost every cheesy romcom Madelyn had a crush on her brother's best friend.
And after over nine years of delusional waiting from Mas's side, Cy asked if she wanted to go on a date with him, after they kissed during one of her brother's famous parties.
the blond girl cursed, she had totally forgotten it, which was weird because all week that's all she could think of. So now she had to choose, it's either going out with a guy she have been somewhat in love with for nine years or helping her best friend get back his girlfriend, the love of his life.
"But you know what? I dig it."
Mads felt her cheeks heat as she put on her left shoe. Finally, after scrambling some bits of her courage she spoke up, "I'm sorry, I forgot about our date, you see, I-umn, Evie, and Doug are in a weird stage. They kinda broke up and she needs me for moral support."
Percy's eyebrows knit, "I didn't know they were a thing?"
"Oh, they're not, umn, well not anymore- not that they ever were, I mean they were, just... It's hard to explain, I told you they're in a weird stage, but I've gotta go."
"Right," Percy skeptically looked down at the younger girl. It was hard for him to believe that she had forgotten their date, as he knew that she liked him since they were kids and heard her gush to Esme, her roommate about how excited she was about their date.
"So, would you mind?" the blond gestured to the door. As the boy walked out of her dorm he opened his mouth to say something, but Madelyn cut him off by quickly saying that they should reschedule and ran off down the stairs, in the opposite direction of Evie's dorm.
"JAY, KEYS, REMOTE!" Ben said as he tossed the things to the vk while the five rushed down the stairs.
"Wait, something's wrong." Everyone turned to Evie who approached Ben and lowered his beanie.
