ACT I CHAPTER IX
(Madelyn)

MADELYN LAYED ON her bed reading a book. She haven't picked one up in a while, so now that the summer holiday has approached, the girl finally had time to read one of many romance novels that she had.

"Love, get down!" Her mother's voice boomed across the big mansion as the girl sighed quickly finding something to mark her page with, and that turning out an extra lego piece from her last build which was a big vase of lego flowers.

After going down two sets of stairs down, as her room was on the third floor, she was engulfed in a big hug. The sweet, almost deadly perfume gave away the person immediately, her aunt Aphrodite.

Yes, the goddess of love and lust was hugging the girl right now, in her living room.

"I'll leave you to it, but don't teach Lovely any more of your tricks, Dite." Madelyn's mother said before flashing a warning look to her daughter. Hebe was the only person apart from her son who called the girl by her second name.

Mads glanced in her mother's direction to see her already gone. She wasn't a people's person. If you weren't her family, it would be rare that she would stick around or give you her genuine smile instead of her sarcastic one.

Even though Madelyn and Anicetus have their father's features, their personalities were just like their mother's, maybe Ani's a little bit more.

"Come with me to the greenhouse, I want to drink tea and we need to catch up!"

Madelyn smiled as she linked her arms with the goddess, she always loved their little tea sessions.

"AND THEN HE left me again!"

Mads placed down her teacup on the table, "Then why don't you drop him? You've been with Aries for a while now, maybe you need a new one?"

Aphrodite snapped the big cookie in half, giving one side to her niece, while taking the bite out of the other, "He's fun, plus he knows all of my preferences. I do not wish to explain them all to someone else."

"Yeah, you got a point." The younger girl agreed as she sipped her drink. Lifting her eyes she saw the goddess stare at her with a knowing smile.

"What?" She asked, her mouth still full of the delicious cookie.

"It happened."

"What happened?"

"The connection!" Aphrodite excitedly said trowing her hands in the air. She had been waiting for this moment for years now.

"What connection, auntie?" The older woman smiled at the clueless girl, "Once you were born, I created a prophecy for you."

Madelyn chocked on the crumbs, "You, what?!" The older woman nodded, "Yes, yes, I created one saying that by the age of eighteen you will meet your destined soulmate."

"Those are a thing?" The blond was utterly confused and somewhat curious. She didn't know her aunt had such skills to do so.

"Soulmates? Honey, I'm older than half of the things in the universe and I look thirty years old. Many evil things exist and you're suprised about soulmates? What are they teaching you in Auradon Prep? You should have come to learn at TUSO instead."

TUSO also know as The Universal School Of Olympus, is a school specifically dedicated for young gods and demi-gods. Her mother wanted her and her brother to go there, but dad clearly stated that his kids will go to Aurodon's Prep for school and in the future if the wished, they could attend Collage at TUSO. That's where her brother, Ani was currently in.

"Well, I guess me and Percy are finally happening, Ani even approved."

The older woman chuckled while shaking her head, "It's not him."

"What? But, how do you know it's not Percy?"

"Well, for a long time I did think that it was him. When you talked about him, you had this full of love and passion aura, but now it has dimed."

Mads tried to reason, "I still like him the same, we're courting!"

Aphrodite raised one of her perfect brows in her niece's direction, "Who's the goddess of love?" Silence. "Exactly."

"What do you mean my feelings for him dimed?" Aphrodite smiled at her niece, "You don't love him as much anymore. Someone stole your heart away from the Pan boy, honey."

Madelyn's light smile disappeared, her head filling up with the thoughts and the kisses of Hook she never should have given him. She tried to reason with herself that the only reason she kissed the boy at the Marina was only to distract him, so she could escape. It couldn't be him, it wasn't him. The blond tried to reassure herself, but a little part of her knew the truth.
