Bryn had been at sea for 3 days, watching the sea birds fly by, fishing and eating the food her father had given her, while reading through the flora compendium. When finally a harbour bobbed into view, Bryn felt uneasy, what if leaving wasn't the right call. She remembered everything her mother said, and she felt a rush of that lioness confidence. 'Screw fear she thought to herself' as she brought her boat into harbour, standing there was a tall bald man with dark skin and small glasses perched on the end of his nose, he was well dressed, in all blue with a symbol of a lion with an anchor. Bryn stepped off the boat and went to walk past but the man stood in her way.

"Name and business?" he asked plainly

"What?" Bryn asked confused

"What is your name and why are you here" repeated the man

"Bryn, Ravenroar, I'm not sure what I'm doing here, why do you want to know, Mr....."

"Alvis Cormos, Of his majesties navy, I am in charge of this harbour" He said producing a clipboard "Now Miss Ravenroar, you must pay to park your boat here" this deeply confused Bryn as where she's from you don't need to pay to use the ocean "since I'm going to assume that you are one of those travellers from the north, you may pay to get your boat back, understood?"

Bryn just sort of nodded

"Miss welcome to North gate of the central continent" He said proudly as she walked through an open gate

Night was begging to fall as she walked into the town, she found someplace that said Inn, she wasn't sure what it mean but she remembered a story of her father and uncle staying in one for a night. She entered with her bag of stuff and sat at one of the tables near a stage, she noticed a woman, looking at the stage from across the room, she had a mask covering the bottom half of her face but a tattoo peaked out from it, she wore a long black coat on top of a small amount of black body armour, her hair was long and black but here eyes were a piercing green, and her skin was pale. The dark woman stood leaning against a beam watching, Bryn thought she was cool and honestly kind of beautiful. Before she could dwell on this for too long before a man walked on stage looked out and said "I'd like you all to welcome tonight's performer Sebastian Apollo"

A man wearing a flamboyant red and yellow shirt with puffy trousers up to the knee and tights bellow that. He was relatively thin and was defiantly no fighter, he had short brown hair. He held a guitar in his arms, He strummed all the string before he spoke "Lady's and Gentle men I am here to sing to all of you, the ballad of the warrior king" he said confidently. He started singing, and he sang his little heart, a story of a warrior king, who had a pet dragon and swung a sword that could vanquish any monsters, and the king did battle with a tyrant. But the crowed booed him, and threw things. Bryn didn't want to watch this so she went outside. Soon after Sebastian came flying out the door with his guitar and a cacophony of booing. He sat on the floor mopping, until he looked up to see Bryn in her fur cloak and obsidian broach. Sebastian looked ashamed of what happened. Until Bryn spoke up.

"The king brought his sword down on the monsters head, later to make its bones to armour" she recited

"You know the ballad?" he said confused

"Kind of, where I'm from we know it as the ballad of King Olaf, and its not a tyrant its a mutant man beast" she said explaining "also its a Lindwrym"

"what is?" Sebastian asked getting to his feet

"his pet dragon, its a Lindwrym to be specific"

"You don't say?" Sebastian said, before putting his hand out "I saw you in the crowd, so you know me but I didn't catch your name"
