16 year-old Darrian Jimenez aka DDOT and 18 year-old David DeShaunReyes aka DD Osama we're the cutest couple in school although They did have relationship issues somehow they always seem to make it through but with this new obstacle on it's way will...
"Come on, Darrian. I already told them you were coming, and it's the last game of my high school career. You can't back out now."
"What if they don't like me or I say something embarrassing?"
"Well, we might never know if we're still out here."
"Ok, fine, I'll go. Hold my hand though."
J.T. and I made our way into the large gymnasium. I was so self-conscious having the whole student section eyes on me. I hated it. Even when I was with D, our peers would always start getting quiet or whispering about us, and I knew they were definitely talking shit when they saw me with J.T. They had a lot to say on the gram, and I wonder if they would ever say it in person. J.T. guided me up the bleachers with my hand till we were met by the woman I assumed was his mother.
"Hey Ma, this is Darrian, the one I was talking to you about," J.T. said.
"Darrian, this is my mother Tiffany and my sister Cornelia."
"Hi, pleased to meet you," I said as I extended my hand to shake hers.
"Yes, Darrian, I am pleased to meet you too. Your all J.T. talks about, and I can see why you're very beautiful. Your glowing. How many months are you?"
"Thanks Mrs....?"
"Tiff, just call me Tiff; it's fine."
"Well, thank you, Tiff. I do have to say you definitely raised a gentleman; he treats me very well, and I'm 4 months along," I said while looking at J.T.
"Alright guys, I gotta go, you know, game to win and all, but I'll leave y'all to catch up." J.T. says and leaves the locker room.
"So how did you and my son meet?"
"Well, we've known about each other for awhile, but we didn't talk seriously until recently," I said.
"Ok, and you do know J.T. is going to college after the summer."
"Yes, he's told me his future plans involving his education."
"Oh good, I thought you were expecting to pin that baby on him." Tiff said in a cold tone.
"Excuse me?"
"Come on, Darrian J.T. Is a sweet boy, but he's dumb as a box of rocks, and you're not going to take advantage of him because your baby daddy doesn't want to take care of his responsibility.
"Tiff I'm not forcing J.T. to be with me or to claim responsibility for my child.
"Cornelia, if you believe that you're just as dumb as him, this is just part of his plan; he's going to use my son's gullible mind for a meal ticket to the good life, and I won't stand for it."
"I promise I'm good, Tiff. I don't need J.T. I want him, and he wants me."
"Yeah, till he goes off to college, you'll be something of the past. You seem nice, Darrian, but nobody wants to be stepdad at 18 now. If you will excuse me, my son is about to play, and I'll like to give him my full attention."

The game was a nail-biter. I didn't know who might win it was a close one, but we came out on top by 1 point. The whole student section ran to the court. As soon as the buzzer went off, I waited till the crowd calmed down to go to the court just to be safe. When I finally saw J.T.'s. face, he was so happy.

"We won, baby, your my good luck charm, I told you."
"Congratulations! I'm proud of you, babe." I said that and hugged his sweaty body.
"So how was mom? I know she probably talked your ear off." J.T. Asked
I hesitated to answer his question. I wanted to tell the truth, but I didn't want to ruin his celebration. I don't even know if he will believe me if I say it.
"No, she was wonderful. I like her." I lied
"Great, I know she can be a little overbearing sometimes, so I have to put her in her place. Just let me know if she's doing a little too much."
"No, she's cool. We're good. Oh, here she comes now." I said I was still lying.
"My baby, my star player! Congratulations! Where are we going to celebrate?" Tiff asked
"Actually, mom, I was thinking about just going with Darrian someplace."
"Oh,just you two?"
"Yeah, I mean, he is my boyfriend now."
"Boyfriend, since when?"
"Since like now."
"Well, I guess, you two enjoy your night," she says and walks away.
"Boyfriend?" I questioned
"Well yeah, it's time for us to make it official. We need to put a name on who we are."
"You didn't even ask me, but I guess I'll be your little boyfriend or whatever," I said and laughed.
"I mean at this point do I need too? You know you mines we just haven't said it out loud yet" J.T says
"You're right it's time, we official"
"Alright I'm going to shower and where gonna get outta here and get some food how does that sound?"
"Sure that's fine"
"Bet" . . . Tell me how I did on this chapter or if you're into it. I know it's not perfect as far as grammar is concerned, but I'm so proud of it. vote and comment
