Eddies pov:
"How much is it" asks the guy i'm selling drugs to.
"For that amount, 20$"
"Here you go, dude"
"Thanks bro"We stand outside, in the garden, i wait until he gets inside the house. Few minutes later i decided to also go back indoor, where the actual party takes place.
This was my third customer, so far tonight, If this keeps up, I won't have enough for others who want to buy drugs next week .
it's crazy and you wouldn't think that some people are buying this stuff, especially in such a small and shitty town like Hawkins, but i guess everyone here fakes it till they think they made it.
They don't 'make it', they end up like there parents, same last name, the same miserable feelings and maybe even the same Job or same house they grew up in. Nothing new, nothing exciting, just re do, repeat, recycel and the circel begins from the start with there children who have no dreams just the same ambitions as there parents, a life already planed out.
The worst you could do is, not to play a part of the perfect life, it's bad for them to be different.
I guess some people can find comfort in this, (having a life planned out, i mean), i just know that i can't. Those perfect families, with their big gorgeous houses are not a part of my life, that's not where i live. It makes it harder to fit in this society that loves a perfect plan for a future life, if you life in a trailer park. I don't feel the need to be a copy of those around me in school either.
That's just because of the way they are, a bunch of assholes, i don't think all of them are like this and i don't wanna generalize them, but those people can be so horrible to you.
I walk past the Jocks, but i don't think they realise my presence, i can smell and hear it, they are pretty drunk.
"What's that girls name again?"
" you mean the new girl? her name is y/n."
I hear them slurr. If they wouldn't have said y/n's name i would just walked away i hide myself next to a closet, eavesdropping.
" i just wanna beat her up tonight, ya know what i'm saying, a fun little game." The rest agrees, but David doesn't.
"Didn't we say we don't hurt the freaks anymore, because of the drugs? "
" Sure Dav, we won't hurt them, but she isn't a part of them."
"She sits with them at lunch" David responds "Yeah whatever, she just has to taste a bit of our strength, we get a good laugh and she will be intimidated."
Otherwise from David the rest of the guys Sound as if they agree and that they were really in to the plan.I know i have to keep y/n save.
I searched for her, and soon enough i find her wandering in the kitchen.
"Hi' i say while i stand behind her She turn around and smiles "Hi".
I stare at her, and think about what to say.
"The jocks are looking for you, they want to hurt you and they are pretty much intoxicated." i burst out.
"What?" Escaped her lips in such a rush of fear, and her eyes widened in a scared way.
" everything will be alright,Just follow me"
I promised her.
She looked not sure if she could trust me saying that everything will be alright, i can't be mad at her, i wasn't sure about it myself.
I take her hand.We race the stares up, i have plans to go to the bathroom.
It's the last room on that floor so usally peopel aren't to Quick to use it as a place to hock up.
I was proven right. We went inside the Bathroom, and locked us in.
