Golden Trio Era (CoS)
Y/n was thrilled to be back, yet again. Despite it being her last year at Hogwarts, she felt no melancholy, rather excited for her journey ahead. She would definitely miss the castle though. Like most, it had been home since first year. She'd never left for the holidays, always opting to stay and thoroughly enjoy the time she had.
Breaking out of her thoughts, Y/n decided to sort through her trunk, unpacking all she needed for the year. Thankfully, it wouldn't take long using magic. She hung all her clothes, with a few flicks of her wand and then moved onto the books, and that's when she saw it.
A black, leather-bound journal that she didn't own, hiding in the midst of her school books. Curiosity got the best of her and she went to retrieve it. Picking it up, she assessed the mystery book, noticing a name on the spine in gold lettering. "Tom Marvolo Riddle? Interesting name" she thought aloud as she flipped the journal open.
The blank pages confused her and sparked her curiosity more. "Maybe it's spelled?" She couldn't figure out why. Perhaps it was holding important information? Scandalous secrets? She wasn't sure. But then her stomach rumbling brought her out of her thoughts, she needed to eat. With that being her main priority, she stacked her school books on her shelf and returned the diary to her trunk, charming it shut. Then she strutted out to the great hall.

When she returned, she pulled the diary out of her trunk once again. This time, taking it over to her desk. She lit some candles with a wave of her hand before grabbing a quill an inkpot, and taking a seat at the desk. First she cast a quick revelio but when the pages remained blank, she simply shrugged and began to write.
Y/n wrote so quickly, focused on getting her thoughts down, that she didn't notice some of the words at the top of the page had disapppeared.
Day by day, my power grows. Sometimes I wonder if there is a limit to how much magic you can learn. But then my desire to obtain more knowledge takes over, and I search for more. Deciding to practise magic since I was 3 was evidently the best choice of my life. I often shock myself with how much I can do.
'Light' magic, 'dark' magic, black magic, blood magic, voodoo magic, sacrificial magic, chaos magic. Legillimency, occlumency, and all at the age of only 17. Now I'm looking into the magic of magical creatures. I swear with enough effort, I could surpass Grindelwald. Hell, I could probably even beat that ugly, bald, noseless freak Voldemort!" Y/n paused and glanced at the page, only now noticing that all the words above had disappeared.
"What the fuck?" She mumbled as she watched the last words disappear, before some words appeared in a cursive handwriting: Is that right? I must meet you then. And before Y/n could react, the diary flipped open and she was sucked into its pages.....
Tom Riddle's POV
I'd been wondering if that idiot Malfoy had planted my diary yet, when I'd felt an unusual presence. Someone was lifting the journal, and their power was so strong I could sense it through their light hold on my diary. I couldn't hear our of the diary unless the sound was very loud, which I cursed at myself for. I could have used a spell which would enable me to hear out of it when I made the horcrux.
I couldn't cast it now, being a mere fragment of my actual soul. Damnit! After a while however, I heard a loud rumbling sound and then a few minutes later the presence disappered. For fuck's sake. I'm going to have to teach Lucius a lesson, when I get out of this damned book!
