Chapter 3: Meeting the Nishimura's

Kay stared out the window, watching the trees go by, she sighed and leaned against the seat

I was wondering how big the Nishimura Manor would be, it must be huge because of how rich they were

My thoughts were cut short when I heard the driver speak

I looked away from the window for a bit, listening to what he had to say "The ride would be 5 hours, Miss" I let out a sigh and leaned my head against the window

"5 hours...how amazing" I mumbled in a sarcastic tone, this was going to be a long ride

I took out my phone from my pocket and put in my AirPods, I went on Spotify and picked a random song

I continued to look out at the window, watching everything move as we drove past, I was getting tired, and my eyes were getting droopy

I let out a soft yawn before falling asleep, letting my body relax as the music continued to play in my ears, helping me fall into a dream world

5 hours had passed, and the car was parked in the driveway of the Nishimura manor

-3rd pov-

The Bodyguard stopped the car and got out of the driver's seat, two maids came out from the manor and got the luggage from the truck

"Had you brought back the bride?" Alex asked, looking at Mark with a serious glance, Alex was a personal butler for the Nishimura

The bodyguard aka Mark nodded his head "Yes, she's in perfect condition, Sir" Alex nodes as he heard what Mark said

The maids brought Kay's luggage to a guest room, Alex let out a sigh "That's good, we wouldn't want the bride to get hurt" Alex said and entered the manor to alert the Nishimura that the special guest was here

Mark watches Alex leave before opening the car door, he sees that Kay is peacefully sleep

"No wonder why they picked her" he mumbled to himself as he looked at the sleeping girl

He let out a sigh before waking her up "Miss malee, we're here at the manor" he said in a gentle tone, not wanting the young girl to wake up in a cranky mood

Kay moved slightly and slowly opened her eyes, her AirPods still in, playing songs from The Weeknd

"Hmm?" she looked at the man standing in front of her "Come on, we don't want Mr. Nishimura to wait any longer" Kay nodes and got out of the car with her phone in hand

"And take off your AirPods, you don't want to be seen as rude, do you?"

"No sir," Kay said and put away her airpods in their case and into her pocket "Good, now follow me"

The bodyguard started walking towards the manor with Kay following behind, Kay saw how beautiful the manor was

She looked around in awe as they walked through the halls, but stopped when she saw a family photo hung up, it was only 5 members and a cute dog

"How can a family of 5 be so powerful?" she thought to herself before going back on following the guard who was already feats away from her

Once they finally reached the room where the Nishimura was, the guard looked at Kay "Answer every question they ask you, and don't lie" the guard said before leaving

Kay was getting anxious, her heart was pounding out of her ass

"You got this. Just breathe" she mumbled to herself before entering the room

As she stepped into the room, she felt the vibe change, it felt intense and dark, and the lights were dimmed, giving it a creepy vibe

The room was beautifully decorated with luxurious furniture and paintings

"You must be Kay Malee, the daughter of Mr & Mrs Malee," A man with a deep voice said, she looked at the middle of the room and saw a man and woman sitting on a couch

"That must be Mr & Mrs Nishimura" Kay thought to herself

Kay's soul left her body when she heard that voice "Yes sir" She was able to stutter out

The man smirked "And your parents told you everything?" Mr. Nishimura asked and Kay nodes "Good, cause I didn't want to explain"

"But just to remind you that you're getting engaged to my son, Riki," he said before his wife whispered to him

I just stayed quiet, nervous to say anything "Niki has a mission so you'll be staying here until he comes back to pick you up"

So many questions were running in my head "Pick me up?" I asked, my question made the two people laugh

"Yes, my dear, he'll pick you up and take you back to his place," Mrs. Nishimura said, she was the friendlier one between the two

"Oh I see" I mumbled before looking up at them "We'll have a maid bring you to your room," Mr. Nishimura said

I nodded and saw a maid step toward me "I'll be taking you to your room, Miss Malee" the maid said in a sweet tone

I was wondering where the hell she came from but didn't ask questions

"Please follow me," she said softly, I smiled at the maid as she led me out of the room to

As I followed the maid to my room, I was able to look around and see how beautiful this place was decorated

The walk was quiet, not awkward but peaceful

We made it to the room I was going to be staying in "This is your room, Miss" she gave me a sweet smile and opened the door for me

"Thank you" I thanked her before entering the room, I heard the door close behind me, and now I was all alone

I sighed before looking around the room, it was nicely decorated with luxury items "Rich people" I mumbled and sat on the bed

I saw that my luggage was by the foot of the bed, I looked up at the ceiling and thought about everything that was happening
