Chapter 12: Where am I?

Kay had just woke up but she didn't recognize where she was

-Kay's pov-

I woke up in a cold dark room, I could barely see anything but I could see a small crack of light peeking in

"Where am I?" My head was pounding, I sat up and held my head, I was trying to remember what happened

My memories were all over the place and it was blurry

"Niki....?" I called out, my voice was subtle, I was trying to keep myself calm

I got up and tried to walk to the light but stopped, I looked back and saw that my foot was chained to the ground

I was so confused, I didn't know where I was, and I could barely move because of the chains

I heard the door open, the light shined into the dark room "Hmm?" I looked back and saw a statuette

I could barely see 'cause how bright the light was "Niki?" I called out again but the statuette didn't say anything and just moved closer to me

"Looks like my pretty girl is awake" that voice...that wasn't Niki's voice

"Are you still in the daze, hun?" I felt a hand on my cheek, and tilting my head up making me look up at them

My vision became clearer, I recognized who it was "Chris?" I was confused and nervous

"Oh? Does the pretty girl remember me?" he smirked, he used his other hand to move my hair out of my face

"Why am I here? Where am I? What do you want with me? Why am I chained up?" I had so many questions that I needed answers to

"Shhh pretty, I'll answer all of those questions for you, just sit down," he told me, gently making me take a seat on the bed

He sat close to me, our knees were touching, I was uncomfortable with how close he was to me

I moved from him so we had some distance between us "Why move away from me, pretty?" he asked

"I'm not comfortable with you sitting close to me" I murmured, he just laughed and moved a little closer to me

He places his hand on my thigh, and I slightly flinch at the sudden touch "Don't worry pretty, we'll be close....soon" he whispers to me

-Chris's pov-

She looked so adorable with that expression, the fear in her eyes, god she's so cute

"But we're at my place in South Korea, pretty" I answered one of the many questions she had

Her eyes widened "Wait what?" I could tell that she was in shock "You heard me"

"And what do I want with you? Oh hun you should know that" I whispered to her, moving closer until we were inches apart

The fear in her grew, I could tell by the way she looked at me "Don't be scared, I'm not going to hurt you, love"

I gently rubbed her cheeks, making her relax a bit, I didn't want to hurt her, all I wanted was for her to choose me

And besides I'm also using her to get Niki all mad

"I can't let you leave, pretty, I want you here with me," I said to her with a small smile

"Ever since I met you at the party, I felt something inside me that I never felt before, I guess you can call it 'love at first sight'..."

-Kay's pov-

My eyes widened, did he just confess his feelings to me? But he knows that I'm married to Niki

As I started to overthink, fear rushed through my body, I didn't want to be stuck here

"No, I'm sorry but I don't feel the same, I have feelings for someone else," I said nicely, not wanting to hurt his feelings

I backed up from him, still not comfortable with how close he was to me

He let out a sigh before looking at me but this time he wasn't looking gentle

His eyes were cold, it was like Nikis but darker, he didn't have the warm gentle look anymore, he became serious....too serious

"Oh....So little Riki captured your heart, hmm?" he asked, his voice firm and snarky, I could tell that he didn't like me having feelings for Niki

I looked away and nodded "Yes he did...." my voice was soft, and I was scared to speak loudly "Does he even love you back?"

His question made me freeze, I looked back at him just to see him smirking at me "What?"

"Oh....So you don't know if he loves you...oh poor thing, you probably felt all embarrassed when he didn't say anything after you confessed"

How did he know? How did he know that I had confessed my feelings to Niki, was he there the whole time? No...he wasn't, it was only the staff, guards, Niki, and I at home...

But how did he know about that

"Cat caught your tongue?" he asked, giving me a sinister look "H-How did you know?" my voice was shaky

I was getting this very uneasy feeling, I didn't feel safe right now, I didn't even feel safe from the start, being chained up in a cold dark room

"Don't worry your pretty little head about it" he moved closer to me again, not giving me my personal space

"Now it's quite late and I don't want my pretty girl to wake up all grumpy"

I didn't know what to feel anymore, I had so many mixed emotions in me

"Now go to sleep pretty, I'll bring you breakfast tomorrow," he said and kissed my forehead

Fear went through my body, he wasn't going to let me go...

He got up and left the room, leaving me all alone in the dark

I wanted to cry, I didn't want to be here anymore, I lay down on the mattress, pulling the pillow close to me

Hiding my face in the pillow as tears slowly rolled down my cheeks

The blanket was barely keeping me warm in this cold room, it felt like a dungeon

I was now trapped here in this cold dark room, I had nothing besides a bed with two pillows and one blanket that was supposed to keep me warm in this cold, and a chain that was keeping me here in this room

I just wanted to go home, what did I do for this to happen to me....
