Chapter 18: The Hospital

Niki made it to the hospital, everyone was already there and in the lobby

-3rd pov-

Niki walked into the hospital and saw that everyone was already there

"Where is she?" he asked in a worried tone "She's in the emergency room" Sunoo replied before letting out sigh

"Sit down," Jay said as he patted a seat next to him, Niki let out a sigh and sat down next to Jay

Niki was so worried for Kay, that he felt horrible "Don't start blaming yourself" He heard Jake say to him

Niki didn't say anything and looked down

-Niki pov-

I felt horrible, the memory of finding her lying on the ground with her blood around her couldn't leave my mind

"Kay please be okay....please....I need you" I thought to myself, praying to god that she would be okay

All the memories of her came rushing through my head

Her smile....her dimples...her eyes....her hair...the way she speaks...the way she fits perfectly in my arms, just everything about her

My heart felt like it was going to break into pieces, it hurt so much...

I felt a hand on my shoulder, I looked up and saw Jay "Everything will be okay, she will be okay"

I let out a sigh and looked back down, I knew he was trying to comfort me... but it wasn't helping

I just wanted her back in my arms

-time skip-

A few hours passed and the doctor came out of the room "Mr. Nishimura" he called out for me, I quickly got up and went towards him

Hoping for good news, I just wanted my baby to be okay

"I'd like to say that your wife is okay..." he started, I felt a weight off my chest, and I took in a deep breath

"But....She'll be in a coma for a while, her body still has to heal" he said, that broke me but I tried to think of the positive side

"At least she's still alive," I thought to myself, trying to stay positive "May I go see her?" I asked, I wanted to see her

The doctor nodded and led me to the room where Kay would be, I entered the room and saw her lying on the bed with a bandage wrapped around her head, hooked up to an IV tube providing fluids, a monitor for her vitals and other medical items

I sat down next to her, I gently held her hand in mine, rubbing my thumb on her knuckles

My eyes were full of sadness and hope "You look gorgeous as always" I whispered and brought her hand up and kissed it

"My baby...." I said softly, I kept holding her hand, it broke me to see her like this

-3rd pov-

After that day, Niki visited Kay, every single day, always bringing a new bouquet of roses for her

He would stay some nights at the hospital, just to be near her, he couldn't sleep without her presence

Sometimes Jake and Heeseung have to drag him out of the hospital

-time skip-

Now it was the second week, Kay was still in a coma, Niki came inside the room with a new bouquet of pink roses

Kay's favorite flowers

He placed the new roses in the vase before sitting down next to her "Hi my love" he said as he gently held her hands

"I hope you wake up soon, it's been hard sleeping this past week, I'm so used to you sleeping by me" he continues to talk to her

Kissing her knuckles and gently squeezing her hand

He still blames himself for what had happened to her, he still can't forgive himself

He looks at her face, seeing how peaceful she looks "So beautiful...." he mumbled, he let go of her hand

Moving his hand to her face, he gently held her face, his thumb rubbing her cheek, his gaze was stuck on her lips, her lips were full and plump

He didn't mind if they were chapped, he just wanted to kiss them, he wondered how her lips would feel and taste

He quickly snapped himself out of his thoughts, he checked his watch and saw that he had to go meet up with the guys, he let out a sigh

"I have to go, my love," he said as he let go of her cheek, he stood up "I'll come back soon, I love you, my wife," he said before leaning down, pressing his lips against her forehead

He stood up, looking at his beautiful wife before exiting the room
