Chapter 21: Proposal

It had been a week since Kay remembered Niki. he wouldn't let her go, not wanting to repeat that nightmare

-3rd pov-

Niki has become more...Clingy and affectionate with Kay

Which was a crazy sight to all his men and staff, they never expected Niki to be all soft

But Lily, Arthur, and Benjamin his chef knew this would happen, they could see the love he had for her ever since the party

But with Niki being more clingy and protective, he made sure that Kay was by his side, he even brought her to his meetings

-Flashback/ Niki POV-

"You sure you want me to come? Won't I bother you?" I heard Kay asking, I looked back at her with a smile, seeing her in that dress made my heart throb "Love, you won't bother me" I told her

I placed my hands on her hips, pulling her closer to me "All you have to do is sit there looking pretty, that's all my love"

My thumbs rubbed circles on her hips, our eyes met, and she quickly looked away, making me chuckle

"Still a shy little girl" I teased and brought my hand toward her face, gently pinching her cheek, she gave me a look of annoyance

"I'm not a baby, you know," she said while looking up at me "Totally not a baby" I continued to tease her

She let out a sigh, I let go of her cheek "It's time to go" I said to her, before leading her out of the estate and into my car

-Time skip-

We made it to one of the headquarters, I got out of the car first and went to open the door for her, I held out my hand for her

She smiled at me, held my hand, and got out of the car, I closed the door before wrapping my arm around her waist, leading her to the entrance

"No need to be nervous, love," I said to her, she nodded, and we entered the building

All the guards bowed when we walked in, I gently rubbed her hip to calm her nerves, and she smiled at everyone, I saw some of my men blush which pissed me off

We went towards the room where the meeting would be held, the guard saw us and opened the door for us

We entered the room, it was full of other mob members and some of my buddies, all eyes were on us, especially on Kay

I went and took my seat that was the head of the table, and she followed me, I saw the nervous expression on her face

"Come here," I said and patted my lap for her, she hesitated, I could tell she was nervous, especially with a bunch of men looking at her

I grabbed her by the waist and pulled her down onto my lap "I'm here love" I whispered gently to her and kissed her cheek

She nodded and got comfortable on my lap "We're going to start the meeting" I said making everyone look at me

But like I was saying, Niki has become a clingy man around Kay, he would kill anyone who looked at her in the wrong way

-Kay's pov-

I was in the bathroom brushing my hair, Lily was going to do it but I told her to take a break
